I do not understand how anyone can spend that kind of money on a wedding. I could not live with myself.

Bride sues over flower color

Sounds like the bride needs to be de-flowered.

Absolutely. Another thing that folks who are bashing this bride fail to consider is that the flowers, in both color and arrangement, are a reflection of the bride's style and taste. It is pretty standard to assume that the bride chose the centerpiece arrangements. If pastel flowers were used instead of rich jewel tones, it looks as though the bride has no eye for such things and no taste. A wedding reception is a social function that is judged by many that attend. The bride had a reasonable expectation to get what she ordered.

“with his 35mm camera.”

That’s so, last millennium.

Plane tickets to St. Thomas - $2000
Thrift store white dress (my lovely bride’s idea) - $5.00
Minister’s fee - $45

Not worrying about arrangements, flowers, guests, wedding party, reception, etc. -— priceless.

We spent the money that we saved on a really fantastic honeymoon!

“A wedding reception is a social function that is judged by many that attend.”

And half of the wedding reception couldn’t care less unless there is a man in attendance who is a botanist. Heck a large number of guys are colorblind. Don’t believe me, see how a guy sorts laundry into darks, lights and whites.

I used the term 'many that attend' instead of 'those that attend' or 'all that attend' for a reason, the fact that men are among the attendees was considered.

Insofar as laundry is concerned, some men are not very detail oriented and could not possibly care less if their colors bleed or if the polyester or finer cotton gets pills and pulls because it rubbed against the denim in the washer or dryer. Heck, there is probably even a few who don't care whether the stuff they wear is clean at all. Somehow I imagine that they know what color that shirt or those underwear are ... they just don't particularly care about separating them.

My comment about laundry was more for the married people. My wife and I have discussion on what is light and dark all the time.

I don’t know anything about the family in this article but some people have such incredible amounts of money that absolutely nothing could be TOO MUCH if they wanted it. I know a few people like that. If they have that kind of money and want to send it that way I say let them do it. It’s not my way, even if I had it, but that is my choice.

The fact that this girl would sue a florist for $400,000 over a $27,000 job, speaks volumes about her.

Ebullient, huh? Sounds racy to me, and do I ever like computer tips. They are always so welcomed. Re: flowers. I could hold one in my teeth.

Re: “Bride sues over flower color”

I feel sorry for the groom that’s stuck with this piece of work. He’s probably p-whipped to the Nth degree... poor guy.
