Those are the comments of sniffy, white liberal mice who truly believe that black kids are too stupid to learn unless they are sitting next to white kids. I think it best to simply continue to ignore the simpletons.
Look.... ask those fools if they would be happy if every government school in the country had exactly 12% blacks and they would grow wide-eyed and respond, “Why no! All schools should have 50% black kids!” The stupidity of these liberal cretins is malicious. I would stay away from them and everything they’re associated with. Just a suggestion....

Their red-eyed hatred of Bush is leading them to say such extreme things that the middle, that vital middle, is being turned off already. Look at Harry Reid's ratings--even worse than Bush's (notice how you don't hear about Bush's ratings so much now that they've started showing those for Congress).
In order to appeal to the Internet crowd which is on DU and which has helped make Air America such a success (yes, that's a joke), the Dems are racing each other over a cliff.
I think Thompson is going to come off as a cool, calm ADULT coming onto the field saying "Get a load of those people," meaning the Dems and the weak Republican field (and yes, that includes Hunter). He is going to drive the columnists wild because as with Reagan, he's a conservative who isn't afraid to BE a conservative, and he doesn't think he has any reason to cover his beliefs.
Just look at those quotes--they're nothing all that shocking, when you think about it, are they? Thats how dems talk all the time now. Well, the general public doesn't like that kind of thing.

I think enough people on the left are immature and unbalanced enough that it could be dangerous. Everyone they don’t like is “Hitler,” everything that is not the latest interpretation of Marxism is “Nazi,” almost everything about America is “genocide,” “slavery,” and “oppression,” etc. The drum-beat never stops — “America = Hitler, Nazi, genocide, war, slavery.” So you have people who have simplistic ideas (little more than hate slogans) who believe that anyone who does not share their narrow ideology is evil. I think that such rhetoric is bound to breed some Timothy McVeighs — there are plenty of losers who blame their failures on the “oppressive” American system that must be destroyed. It is only a matter of time before they start acting on their beliefs.
It never occurs to the liberals that it’s a statement of complete racism and prejudice to assert that when a black first sets foot in a classroom, they are “already behind”.
The rhetoric gets more and more heated, and it never cools until something bad happens.

For thirty years liberal judges and politicians have used "racial balance" as a justification to destroy urban neighborhoods and the neighborhood school. While driving "White flight," as responsible parents seek to protect their children from substandard education by moving, it has been a devastating blow to the Black community which could not afford the same options, causing harm which will take decades to repair.
The people posting this hate-speech are the true racists, and they clearly want to continue to harm Black people.

WE were the teacher's aids and THERE WAS NO POLITICS IN THE PRIMARY GRADES.

The high school graduation rate in this same district today is about 30%...and we're paying through the teeth.

I have no pity. If they want to recognize criminals like Jackson and Sharpton as their leaders and they enjoy being lied to election after election, then they get what they deserve.
I would also add that it has bred tremendous resentment towards minorities and I believe that this has set back race relations in this country by decades.
To be "colorblind" requires equal treatment for ALL races. Period. And I believe that that is what most Americans truly want.
On a person to person basis, I believe most of us judge other humans by their character, not their skin color.
