I hope to participate in a Rolling Thunder next year. Right now my bike is too new and not yet broken in, so I’m not willing to drive it 100 miles one way at a constant speed. I’ll join in on the local Memorial Day rememberances.

They even show more restraint then I thought possible when several of the Unwashed Heathens made some “baby Killer” remarks. I thought I was going to have to post bail money for my father (Vietnam Vet and 23 year retiree).

I dont know who wrote this piece of trash,but Bikers at a rally like rolling Thinder are about as peaceful as they come. They dont threaten anyone and for certain they dont even want to be around these so called peaceniks.
However if they decide to key someone’s bike I think I would rather wrestle an alligator than face one when caught.

The person who wrote that could absolutely be charged with threatening and/or encouraging those crimes, regardless of whether it were ever linked to an individual act of vandalism.
I would encourage anyone with the right legal sense to report the threat to any police department, who will likely direct the case to a specialized group that pursues cyber-crimes.
That was not even a slightly veiled “warning” - it was very overt.

I remember about a year ago, outside a tony breakfast restaurant in upscale Los Altos (California), we were admiring a new HD; When the owner showed up he bragged about his spanking new $15,000 custom paint job. Shipped both ways to Southern California...
