My first reaction is what I do now, get the word out about what is going on in my own backyard. Work with authorities to detail the connections and links.
In our country that claims secular values, demand of even my liberal friends the recognition that Freedom of Speech is being infringed upon by Political Correctness. Get people to understand we cannot extend an olive branch to people who operate under the most deceptive propaganda the world has ever seen. Fight to counter the propaganda of “Hate America” rhetoric, a rhetoric we have indeed failed to counter with what is truly citizenship.
A bombing at a mall etc. will not, WILL NOT, cause our country to unite. It will put the final splinter into our people. Understand that the extreme left, what we call the extreme left, will be out there protesting. Literally protesting our Freedoms. We all know on FR that the dem. base will act to appease these people.
Conservatives have long towed the PC line. Those that have dared to cross it are roasted in the media, print retractions, apologize, clarify... why? Why will we not demand, fight, and protect our Rights? Why do we cower in corners and speak in whispers and demand of ourselves that we use the genteel language of the left?

That video sickens and disgusts me. I couldn’t watch it all the way through. What these ‘converts’ have chosen is spiritual death.

And here's the thing about that, in terms of the Israelis and for us. It hasn't worked for the Israelis (in terms of getting rid of terrorism) and it won't work in the future. And for us, it hasn't worked on getting rid of terrorism (at least not where we're fighting and it's liable to come on shore here, too) and it won't work in the future for us either.
It hasn't worked for the Israelis (in terms of getting rid of terrorism) on those two levels that I spoke about. On the individual level, they do act a lot differently than the Paliestinians do. They are definitely a different kind of people than the Muslims are. Because all you have to do is look over in Iraq and Afghanistan and see how one group of Muslims treat another group. Then you see what different kind of people the Israelis are. Quite different.
And it hasn't worked on the governmental level either (in getting rid of terrorism) and they been at it for over 50 years now. It hasn't worked in 50 years and it won't work in the next 50 years either. It's simply not going to stop -- at least it's not going to stop until someone gets rid of the religio-fanatical-governmental idealogy of Islam. And since no one is going to do that, it means it's not going to stop. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world. Does anyone really think we're going to put a dent in 1.2 billion Muslims by shooting off a few rounds in a rifle at a few isolated targets over in Aftghanistan and Iraq? That's never going to happen.
So, it's like I've said before. This is a 100-years-war with Islam and you can count on terrorism until the day you die. No one is going to get rid of Islam, much less get rid of 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, so be ready for "perpetual war" for the next 100 years.
Of course, I do think there is a solution that is coming pretty soon, but it's not coming from the Israelis and it's not coming from the Americans, and it certainly isn't coming from the Muslims.
Jesus Christ is due back here, on earth, any time now. Things are coming to that point -- and the Muslims are part of what is bringing that about. So, Jesus, as the Messiah of Israel will be the one who will destroy Islam, totally and wipe it out completely, so that there is not one professing Muslim left in the world. They'll either abandon that evil and despicable religion or they'll be dead -- one or the other.
And that solution is not a comic book solution, but a real one that is coming right around the corner.
So, I don't ever figure the Israelis are going to solve it, or the Americans are going to solve it, or anyone else is going to solve it. That's because the Bible says that no one is going to solve it. So, be prepared for terrorism for a long time to come.... Good luck in the meantime.
Or else, just become a Christian and trust in Christ as your Savior and pray that He comes sooner rather than waiting for a few more years...

I believe you are correct about this scenario. The nuts (liberals, Dems, socialists, whatever - they're all nuts) will start screaming for impeachment even louder, and really acting out their rage at conservatives (which they identify as Republicans even though there's not a complete overlap). What will happen then is anybody's guess.
I fear that before it's over, we'll be fighting in the streets with our countrymen over the acts of evil doers from outside our borders.

Why are you afraid of that? It's a rational response of citizens to a situation where government is shirking it's Constitutional duty to provide for the common defense.
I think you’ve hit a nerve. Of course, that nerve has been exposed for quite some time here on FR and anywhere else that genuine Americans (i.e., those who revere the Constitution and honor our history & traditional culture) meet or converse.
That said, you know as well as I that freedom loving individuals, on the loss of their freedom and upon being pressed into service for a new crown, will resort to independent thought. That probably won’t show up on a public forum.

Maybe not soon, but how do you define soon, anyway? Whenever it happens, what are you prepared to do? Accept dhimmitude, hide, fight back, what? It is a simple question.

Our kids and I have already worked out a plan for when the serious shooting starts over here, and they know for example to take the back roads to get to our location.
We already have weapons and ammo and freeze-dried food stashed at a family-owned ranch out in the boonies. We just have to get there with clothing, sleeping gear, and drinking water when the flag goes up.
We will have enough extended family members for our own defense cell, and one of the priorities as I see it will be missions to kill Muslim invaders.
In either case, I don’t see taking prisoners as an option.

If I were an al-Qaeda strategist, I would have thousands of "students" circulating throughout the university system in every state in the Union. When one finishes his degree at one school, he receives a new identity and proceeds to attend another college. This way they not only have plenty of deep-cover soldiers embedded over here, but they have an intimate knowledge of the territory. It's just a matter at that point to get weapons across the Mexican border (how hard is that?), and they're ready to attack.
