I’m pissed that Wisconsin is one of the last states not willing to pass concealed carry...and the DA prosecuting this is a newly elected jerk

What makes Wisconsin, of all places, so pro-criminal? Even in places like New York and Massachusetts, you can defend yourself if you work a dangerous job. Aren't farmers normally conservative about issues of personal security?

I believe they have passed it but the lefty Gov. Doyle vetoed it and there was not enough votes to override. It is my understand open carry is legal in Wisconsin and Doyle said that is O:K with him. Every law abiding gun owner in Wisconsin should start to daily open carry.

A KG9 Kid 'Lesson on Liberalism' for those not paying attention to the politics of pizza delivery:

1. Liberals charge pizza delivery guys with carrying a concealed weapon on the job, even when it's legal.

2. Liberals cry racism and sue pizza delivery places that won't deliver to high crime neighborhoods.

3. If you DO deliver pizza to a high crime neighborhood, the liberals sue you for trying to kill minority populations with trans-fatty acid laden junk food.

Conclusion: You can't even deliver a pizza in America these days without a hysterical liberal calling you a genocidal racist gun-lover.

Point to ponder: If liberals very seriously act like this over something as trivial as pizza, where do you think they'll ever stop?

Damned smoke here in St. John’s County is wall to wall, just got to hope that some damned freekin idgit don’t toss a butt out of the window. Hell, all my past, and all my future, is linked to this sorry ass 5 acres of hammock on the edge of Trestle Bay Swamp. If it burns, my grandson is gonna have to scrabble around for college tuition. I seldom had any extra bucks to mess with, just kept paying the mortgage. I never worked my ass to the bone worried about diddly shit, other than passing the future on!
The republican party is now besieged by a whole bunch of urban pissants, who damned sure don’t care about me!
Hell, if the biggest issue I had to deal with was a bunch of freakin barbarians raising hell in the Bronx, or wherever, Goodness, Gracious!
Rudy, and all the other Rinos, dropped the ball, when they began to let the barbarians set the standards.
Hell, what would be left of NYC, without the barbarians?

Still need to convert those “may issue” states to “shall issue.” I live in one.

Hell, no rebuttals, do I win by default?
I am still waiting for a coherent discussion, of what you damned New Yorkers are gonna do, about all the Damned barbarians you’ve adopted!

Open carry is ok in some rural areas of Wisconsin, but in practice, it will get you arrested for SOMETHING in most of the state.

Wisconsin's constitutional guarantee is better than the second's guarantee. Not that it does any good in this people's paradise.

Right to keep and bear arms. SECTION 25. [As created Nov. 1998] The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other lawful purpose. [1995 J.R. 27, 1997 J.R. 21, vote November 1998]

They passed it in the last legislature when the Pubbies controlled both houses, but because they acted like the national republican party, doing little to challenge Doyle, they screwed the pooch on this one. Doyle vetoed and there were not enough votes to override.

Wisconsin, particularly Madison, is one of the most liberal areas of the entire country. Remember, besides Herb Kohl, the Diary Queen (you figure that name out), we have Russ Feingold, who thinks partial birth murder is fine.

So...all you folks need to do is have criminals legally reclassified as fetuses?

Pizza delivery drivers DO get killed and robbed. What is he supposed to do, just assume that the guy robbing him only wants money?

Milwaukee County and Dane County. Counties run by criminals in elected office, for the criminals (and empty-headed university liberals).

I wonder if the picture could be improved with an animated single-bar graph/caption giving the murder rate for each year, so as more states turn blue the bar would shrink?

no, its fortunate. maybe the new DA is pro-gun and thinks this case can help get concealed carry legalised.
or maybe he’s really anti-gun, and doesn’t realise that if the victim wins, WI will be much closer to concealed carry.

So do I. And, the chances of getting a carry permit vary greatly from county to county. Our sheriffs can approve or deny an application for any or no reason at all.

Frankly, “shall issue” states are an abomination, too. I have yet to find a copy of the Constitution where Amendment II mentions anything about permits and proficiency exams being allowable infringements.
