ecoenquirer.com ^ | April 2006 | Ecoenquirer

The situation has confounded local environmentalists, who are now evenly divided on whether the solar power plant or the nest of squirrels is more important to their cause.

Since it is almost Earth Day, AKA Manbearpig Worship Day, I thought this post would be appropriate.

This has caused unspeakable turmoil in the environmental community", lamented Rainbow Treetower, spokesperson for the local Falls Canyon chapter of the Save Our Earth Society. She noted that one female environmentalist was seriously injured during an altercation over the issue when a male associate tried to choke her by entangling her in a large dream catcher.

One of the best ones today!

Let's see....gas prices are high because they won't allow us to drill in ANWR and the Gulf - even though it looks like other countries are about to do so in the Gulf anyway. And they won't allow us to build newer, more efficient refineries. Energy costs are up because they all got their panties in a wad after Three-Mile Island and now we can't build nuclear plants. They complain about costs and clean air and yet won't let us do what we need to do to correct the issues. And NOW THIS.

Makes me want to go up to one of these tree-huggers, get up into their face and scream out....

What In The He** Do You Want Now!!!!

It's a shame that fools get only one day to celebrate while the rest have to suffer year-round.

If they can't keep their house warm with power from the solar plant maybe a squirrel coat will help.

Gas prices too high? Walk; I'll tax your feet! Electricity fuels not politic to extract? Freeze in the dark! It emits carbon dioxide? Embrace the Stone Age, caveman! But don't eat meat or light a fire.

Liberal enviro-wackos look at the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea with envy and increasingly want to replicate their pristine darkness, lack of fossil fuels, dearth of animal protein, and even their Dear Leader's love of child pornography for our own future. Conservatives consider Kim Jong-il a genocidal terrorist dictator, a barbarian tyrant so megalomaniac that he revels in the starvation, torture, and death of his own people.

The hardest part was trapping the squirrel and depositing him on the site. Just my guess. These eco-nuts only want to destroy, not build--even if it's solar.

"There are now unconfirmed reports that one of the environmentalists attending a "Save the Squirrels" demonstration accidently drove over the squirrel nest in question, killing the entire family of squirrels. Local police have reportedly treated the case as an accident, and have not filed any charges against the woman, who is now under suicide watch at a local hospital."

Don't worry...They're dead Jim...lol

Humor tag? its beyond humor! Maybe they should make the plant so you fill it with nuts and when the squriels go in they have to walk through a turn style and it turns a generator that way we can live in harmony and still get power and yet employ the squriels, but then they will want benefits and raises so I guess that wouldnt work! I thought the eviro wacks wanted solar power anyways? What it realy is, is that they want america to become third world in culture. So we arent self sufficient and have to rely on foriegn sources. in other words they want us to go backwards and be controlled by governmental regulatory non independant taxable sources where tyhey have a say and of course solar power doesnt probably emit any toxins so they cant tax for emissions and have a say cause it wouldnt be a suppossed dirty air enviro issue. The joke of it!
