"Everybody in politics lies, but they [the Clintons] do it with such ease, it’s troubling,” Geffen said.

Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson just released the following statement: "While Senator Obama was denouncing slash and burn politics yesterday, his campaign's finance chair was viciously and personally attacking Senator Clinton and her husband.

"If Senator Obama is indeed sincere about his repeated claims to change the tone of our politics, he should immediately denounce these remarks, remove Mr. Geffen from his campaign and return his money.

This very early campaign fighting will hopefully make voters tired of Obama and HRC long before it's time to vote.

Truth hurts. That said, this is going to be fun. Obama is lining up $ome real $upport and will be in for the long haul. Hillary's goons will be unleashed in as vigorous of a fashion as for the Sink Emperor's defense/assault on his (truthful) accusers...

Clintons furious over Hollywood fundraiser for Barak. Hillary focusing death rays on Geffen. Let's see if he bursts into flames in the coming days.

Isn't he the one who gave Al Gore that wonderful hug from behind??

"Everybody in politics lies, but they [the Clintons] do it with such ease, it’s troubling,” Geffen said.

It's called being a sociopath.

Bill Clinton deserves universal contempt for who he pardoned and also the irregular process by which such outrageous pardons were slipped through at the midnight hour. HOWEVER, anyone like Geffen who was pushing for a pardon for Leonard Peltier (murderer of FBI agents) is not exactly worthy of respect........

They fell out in 2000, when Mr. Clinton gave a pardon to Marc Rich after rebuffing Mr. Geffen’s request for one for Leonard Peltier. “Marc Rich getting pardoned? An oil-profiteer expatriate who left the country rather than pay taxes or face justice?” Mr. Geffen says. “Yet another time when the Clintons were unwilling to stand for the things that they genuinely believe in. Everybody in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it’s troubling.”

wasn't geffen a big FOB?:

Yes he was. Geffen, Katzenberg and Spielberg gave monster amounts of soft money to the DNC during Slick's years in the WH. They also donated heavily to his presidential library. I understand that Geffen is not on speaking terms with either Bill or Hillary now, and he is doing all he can to push Obama. The fundraiser that Spielberg and Katzenberg agreed to throw for Hillary in the near future is not going to be a pretty picture, I'll bet a lot of people who used to roll out the red carpet for the Clintons will be "out of town" or "have a previous engagement."

if hollywierd can't support hillary, how is she ever going to get the nomination?:

She won't be the nominee.

Indeed. What's interesting is that in these primaries where Hillary is going to dig up every morsel of dirt and slime Obama at every turn, there is no way that the Left can blame Republicans. The true Clinton attack machine will be exposed never before as it was when Bubba ran for office. Hillary was always behind all the smears and attacks.

I am just going to sit here and eat my popcorn while relishing the fight that is starting. The bloodletting is going to be so bad with so much ammo for both sides to fling that this will go down as one of the dirtiest fights in primary history.

I wouldn't be so sure, we've got a long way to go.
