Bill Clinton deserves universal contempt for who he pardoned and also the irregular process by which such outrageous pardons were slipped through at the midnight hour. HOWEVER, anyone like Geffen who was pushing for a pardon for Leonard Peltier (murderer of FBI agents) is not exactly worthy of respect........

They fell out in 2000, when Mr. Clinton gave a pardon to Marc Rich after rebuffing Mr. Geffen’s request for one for Leonard Peltier. “Marc Rich getting pardoned?
