"But Senator I think you are confusing the facts with the political perception of this"

Sorry to say that is exactly what you heard, and doesn't that just perfectly illustrate our problem! The MSM creates a perception that then becomes the reality. As Feith pointed out, words have meaning and you should be careful with them. Of course when you are trying to manipulate public perception, you are careful to mislead with your words.

"Kerry admits Hamas and Hezbollah are more powerful, radical, and dangerous than before"

Exactly. He also believes we can defeat international terrorism by limiting our strategy to fighting the fight in Afghanistan.

Dear dear that was not PC LOL

I think I'm going to cry. Sob, sob, sob. Next...

BTW, I hope Harrods is now letting in to shop personnel in uniform. I recall it was baring from admission all military types that might offend other shoppers. Just curious.

It doesn't take long for them to believe their own propaganda.

Biden spoke the truth. Obama is the first "clean" Democrat to run for the presidency. One, he takes a daily shower, which cannot be said about Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. And two, he has not been caught taking bribes or putting money in his freezer.

If all the versions are out there I firmly believe that "truth will out".

Years ago that's what we were taught as journalists. Get all sides, present them clearly in an unbiased manner, just report what you are told nothing more, leave nothing out add nothing in, and then let the audience, readers, etc. make up their minds.Journalism should be pure unadulterated.

Those days as we see are clearly over.

Today it's New Media vs. old.

We are winning the battle as subscriptions to old media papers and ratings for DBM t.v. nets decline every year. The battle is Capitalism vs. Socialism/Communism,the stakes are ruling the world and the war will be waged on the web, talk radio and occasionally t.v screens.

We are the Knights of the Round Table and guys like Rush have become near kings. You can be Sir Lancealot Phsstpok.

Wallace uses Reed to recreate the picture that Feith and his people manipulated evidence to make the case for war in Iraq. Reed goes along willingly, of course.

If Feith watched this part, I'll bet his fist went through his tv screen. He ought to find a way to call Wallace out on it.

Right. There was speculation that Fox settled with some money on that issue. I am just upset that he expands his control in news operations - not that anything wrong but only that he is biased and not honest.

Truly, there are only two words required to describe fully Wallace and the rest of the Ted Baxter hosts: NOT SMART.

Reed, paddling fast and furious to get his "point" across.

Did anyone tell Reed that there was full wartime censorship under Truman*?.

War correspondents were placed under jurisdiction of the military; subject to courtmartial; forbidden to talk about casualties before official publication; not allowed to criticize Allies' conduct of the war; not allowed to publish material that would be demoralizing to the troops; (and much much more)

We wouldn't want to go back to the old days of censorship, I know. But Truman had it a lot easier than Bush, with regard to news coming out of the war zone

Timmy lets Hoyer go on and on.

Boehner jumps in. Why not allow pubbies bring a resolution to the floor. Steny says they will. When, when, when Steny asks Boehner. Does not let Hoyer off the hook. (Who put something in Boehner's coffee and where can we get some?)

I found this when preparing yesterday's preview

The article doesn't name names as to who the advisers are, but Boehner's performance today clearly indicates to me that the story is accurate and that he took the advice.

He didn't have a perfect performance today, but he was better than he has been.  He let Hoyer get away with outright lying about the DOD IG report involving pre-war intelligence without challenging him on his twisting of the truth.

He let Hoyer get away with outright lying about the DOD IG report....

That was disappointing. I get the feeling that Boehner does not like hard work. But clearly he has had conversations about things that need to be done and is getting the message. He needs to work harder though.

Do not make minor claims on your homeowners policy. For 7 years you will have that claim come up on your CLUE reoprt, that is the insurance industries credit report. It can make your homeowners rates go up, it can cause the rate of a new house purchase go up and it will stay with the house for the new owners, and make their rates go up.

The insurance commissioner of my state, Oregon, says it is getting to the point that the insurance companies issue a policy with a cover letter stating, "Here is your new insurance policy, thank you, but if you choose to use it, you will be cancelled!"
