Until black cultural "leaders" address this culture of guns and rap, this is going to go on. Way too many black teens and early twenties types today dress like thugs, talk like thugs, and move like thugs, until they become...thuglike.
Sometimes this fashion slops over into action. Probably, that's what happened here.
Of course, pointing this out makes me racist.

Yep. Guns and Rap are slowly creeping from Basketball to Football. Basketball is a lost cause IMHO. I hope the NFL stops it before it is too late.

Pointing it out does not make you racist, but it extends beyond rap. The US went to hell when drugs became widely available and used during the '60s. Black families were mostly intact before then and blacks knew the value of a good education. When drugs came to the community, dealing and stealing was a way to support the habit and to make money. Then doped up criminals with guns took over and people were dying all over the black neighborhoods. Liberals responded by offering money to people to stay doped up and unemployed and trying to take away guns from everybody. Drugs and government handouts have enslaved the inner city and made people stupid. They think that standing on the street corner, getting high and waving a gun is a business model for success. Prayers for Williams' family and the Broncos organization.

I'm sorry, truly sorry, for this individual and his family. Unfortunately, the rappers are the Black "cultural leaders". The real responsibility here rests with the individual and the family. That's true in the Black community, if there is such a thing, as in all communities. The "village" especially the "ghetto village" will not raise the child. That philosophy works for gangsta's and wolf packs.

Just got here but couldn't (h)it have been a disgruntled Bronco fan? Just saying ...
That "h" just popped in as I was typing - honest - what was the spread on that game - maybe someone lost some big $$$?

(sarc) Why do I care? These kids don't vote, and if they did, they sure wouldn't vote Republican. They've been brainwashed into believing that the guy with the R next to his name wants to take away Grandma's SS check and poison the environment.
