Telephone Poll just taken (Vanity)

I just got off the phoe with a pollster. Every single question he asked had the phrase (corruption of Republicans in the state and in Washington) in it or referenced to it. How blatant can these guys be?

The pollster admitted to me that all his calls were in the 215 area code, thats Philadelphia and immediate surroundings.

Expect to see this one trumpeted on the news in a weeks or so.

Probably a DNC push poll.

It was a Democrat phonebank worker pretending to take a poll in order to keep you on the line.

Is it legal to record your phone calls with others in Pennsylvania? ("one party consent" as in Colorado)
Would be fun to hear audio or see transcript.

Sounds like a DNC 'push poll' which is not a poll. Its their campaign to make the GOP look bad.

Should ask them how much they get paid and if they get benefits.

I love to get polled by the DNC, last time was in 2004:

Of the following potential candidates, which ones do you have a favorable opinion of:

John Kerry --- Unfavorable
John Edward --- Unfavorable
Howard Dean --- Favorable
Hillary Clinton --- Unfavorable
Dennis Kucinich --- Favorable
Carol Mosley Braun --- Favorable
Al Sharpton --- Favorable

I like to give them hope, let them linger longer, twisting in the wind, spending their money, that could otherwise go to real candidates.

Definitely. I had one of those guys call me once. The Dem he was working for didn't like the color yellow. Turned the pollster ~ who was African-American.

Don't know how long his conversion lasted, but for a moment he was a free Republican.

How does someone take a telephone pole? I mean those things are huge and stuck pretty deep in the ground...

Did you object to the questions? I would have.

Yup...sure did.

Usual responses were kinda limited, since I wasn't aiming to be argumentative.....

I actually had the guy admitting the questions were biased.

I resent the implication that I would be untruthful!

LOL ok I suppose we can agree that a situation-specific definition of "favorable opinion" was the important qualifier.
