Well thank you, ol' Cut-and-Run Dean.

"We don't need a president who says they're going to leave this to the next president. That's not leadership. It's the kind of thing that got us in there in the first place with no plan."
But Howie, that would be Bill Clinton you are talking about,
and you'd be right, that wasn't leadership!!!

Dean Says Democrats Will End Iraq Problem We leave. Iran and the Baathists split Iraq. Kurds get killed. If Saddam hasn't been executed yet he is freed. Islamic violence and justice rule the land. But we are able to stop the Islamist wave sweeping the world at Okinawa. See, no problems. < /moonbat mode>

GOP needs to come out swinging on these pocketbook issues though. I really wish Bush would articulate his policies more forcefully. Tell Americans the real reason why gas prices are high. Why raising the minimum-wage only hurts the very people it's supposed to help. Why entitlement programs need to be phased out.

Actually, Dean is correct. Don't blow a fuse, let me explain. The Democrats will solve the Iraq problem - for the American public, and for a short period of time. For the Iraqis, of course, the Democrat solution will probably be a bloodbath followed by dictatorship. In the long run, the solution to the Iraqi problem will create a much bigger and nastier problem, possibly in the form Iran armed to the teeth with nukes, North Korea selling nukes and missles to the highest bidder, or any of the other problems that will fester and grow once our adversaries know that the American response to any difficult problem will be giving up and running away.

Iraq becomes Iran's western province - and is made the launch pad for their new nuclear arsenal pointed first at Israel, then Europe, and finally America.
In Democrats' minds, "problem solved".
Appeasement now!

I'm hard pressed to think of a single problem dems have made a dent in and have come close to solving (recognizing that no politicians can fully solve any problem).

Sure. And the Dimocrats' solution will begin like all their solutions do: raise taxes on the "wealthy" and redistribute the wealth to the "needy"
Oh yeah and then they will blather on about how they have a plan without actually mentioning what that plan is (of course it depends on what the definition of what the word 'is' is)

The first thing I think we would do is have a real strategy for how to get out of Iraq Um, I'm sure the wily reporter from GMA responded to Mr. Howler Dean with the question: "And what, exactly, is that strategy?"
But I suppose ABC (and the rest of the MSM) is satisfied with the "trust me" type of campaigning.
