This is Canada's Communist Broadcasting Corporation... I don't expect this special of theirs to be complimentary towards America.

Does any other nation care what we (or other nations) think about them? All other nations act in their own self interest, so why shouldn't we?
Seriously, does anyone believe Putin take into consideration what the Americans might think of him before he does anything?
This has got to be the liberals' stupidest argument!

It isn't actually "the world," you know, it's "the world's journalists." Screw 'em.
To: Doctor Raoul
You are correct, why don't the America haters, Liberals, and those who criticize this country and go to Cuber after Castro dies and build their brave new world and la la land and leave us alone.

It isn't actually "the world,"
That's true. I know that my internet friends all over the world tell me to ignore what their media thinks.

Who cares what the world thinks. We're saving their arsses and they don't even know it. Well, the World was..is against Jesus and we're a very Christian Nation...and as the scriptures say:
Luk 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

I love to read letters to the editor in foreign newspapers. Rarely are there any letters about the U.S. Most people here and around the world are concerned with local things. They care about crime, health care, quality of education, local politics, taxes, religion, etc. Usually the same things that we are concerned about in our daily lives. The only obsession that I have noticed seems to be on the part of journalists. They are devoid any creativity. They seem to be unable to write opinions about anything that doesn't include the U.S. They're pathetic, small minded little creatures with a total fixation on U.S.

From the CBC,
"In other words, the war against Iraq deepened the perception of the United States as an empire that simply dictates its overwhelming economic and strategic interests, defying any diplomatic considerations, even if it means running over the UN, as it did."
