You're starting to sound like Reverend Pat Robertson!

So, I guess you are confident that bush would simply rubber stamp the democrats agenda?

It is true that he hasn't found the courage to veto anything yet...................

I can see your point, he would probably just sign all the changes you listed into law.

I voted for Bush in 92. I've refined my political views in the intervening 14 years, and now believe in principals over party.

I respect you for that but my experience is that no candidate ever exactly mirrors what I want. It has always been a matter of voting for the lesser of two evils. Sure, I could forget the consequences of my vote and just vote for self-gratification but that helps no one but my own ego.

Regardless of what Bush does, most of this would come to pass. Congress controls the money.

He thinks we should take our Iran's president too?

Damn, he should run for office.

We don't have to get rid of them all, to effect a change. We can send a strong message by developing a short RINO hit list and going after them big time. Get an alternate Repub and back them.

Any suggestions?

I think he was talking about the South American nut job at the time, but a policy of 1 shot 1 kill could be highly rewarding when it comes to liberating the oppressed and ridding the world of obvious evil. Take care.

Term limits is a thought, although those that would have to establish them are also those who would be most opposed.

In my sometimes obsessive thoughts on these issues, I think about it that way too. Too many people in this country take a lot for granted and maybe it's time for a reality check. I will still vote for the most conservative candidate this Nov..

Hope you have your flame suit on.

The "Republicans at any cost" clan will soon be here to flame you, call you dirty names, accuse you of being a HIllary Supporter, accuse you of being a closet democrap, accuse you of being unpatriotic, accuse you of doing everything under the sun.

However, they won't have a second to post why they think your stance is not the right one in a logical manner.

They simply do not possess the maturity to do that. Most children don't.

I'll be voting conservative. What that means to the GOP is up to them.

I lean in a similar direction. The more socialist a candidate, the lower their chances of getting my vote. This is regardless of their party affliation.

"Vote in the socialists..."

I did. I apologize. And I promise not to do it again.

I swear that I will not vote for any more Rinos or other Bushes.

I concur with your thoughts. I will always vote conservative, but when it's a choice between a limp-wristed RINO and fire-breathing radical secularist anti-American socialist (as it often is), I will vote for the RINO with no pangs of conscience.

Is that like a little pregnant?

The 50% conservative is not a conservative. He is a RINO. The difference between a RINO and a liberal is only in degree, not in philosophy.

This year we are faced with having to vote for the lesser of two evils. Does anyone really think that voting for a Democrat, third party minority candidate, or not voting at all is going to make things better? The Democrats are against everything conservatives stand for. They will weaken this country's economy, security, and sovereignty. If you don't like what congress and the president is doing write or call and tell them so. Be a pest, be a gadfly and force them to return to their conservative principles embracing freedom and independence as opposed to restrictions and dependence. If they don't, campign for a more conservative candidate. A non vote or a Democratic vote is a sure way to socialism and dependence.
Like Churchill said, "Never give in, never give in, never give in!!"

I don't think it's "Ls" v. "Cs" here.

I think the problem is that power corrupts.

Spending is power, to Congressmen. They overspend cuz they use the money to buy votes, pay off their supporters with pork, and the ilke.
