I hear this stuff was made in china to fill an albanian contract. Its brass cased and 148 grain FMJ. Im not sure if its lead or steel core.
At anyrate Its cheap $35 FOR A 440 Rnd tin. I hate to pass it up at that price. I bought one tin today and there are 4 left, Im wondering if I should snapem up.
I have seen comments ranging from "this stuff sucks" to "very acurrate" out there on the internet.
Anyone out there have firsthand experience with the stuff?

Be careful with this kind of ammo....
It's probably Berdan primed (not reloadable) and I'm betting they are using corrosive primers. It is useable but make sure you clean your weapon right after firing to prevent corrosion in the bore, chamber and boltface.

I hear all kinds of people talk about how awful some foreign ammo is. I never had a problem with any of it other than dirty powder. Clean your gun well after firing. I think some people like to blame their crappy shooting ability on the ammo.

One reason I only fire my own hand loads. I have a highly accurized Rem 700 in .30-06 that has given me 3 round groups at 100m with 0.29 ctc accuracy. That is with 147 gr FMJBT Match bullets. No factory loads will get you that close unless you pay through the but for match ammo.

I don't think anybody plans on getting one-hole groups from a Russian surplus rifle shooting Albanian ammo.

If it was approved by Comrade Enver, it's good for fighting imperialist fascist dogs!

I would bet it is OK. I once bought some South American ammo which was virulently corrosive. I mean it would almost rust while you watched.
On the other hand I have bought quite a bit of Chinese and Eastern Block ammo which was sold as corrosive but if so was just barely.

Generally the berdan primers are mildly corrosive.
I got a pile of south african 308 today to. That stuff rocks

Speer Hollow point boat tail match rounds are dead bang accurate. I weigh each bullet and separate them into similar weights, there is never more than a 0.1 gr difference. I weigh each charge of IMR 3031 separately (with an automatic scale/trickler) and adjust base to ojive distance with each round. I have the trigger on the Rem down to 2 pounds and the barrel is floated 0.020" in a synthetic stock. The whole thing rests on a Harris Bipod and I have a Pentax 6-24 x 44 Lightseeker scope with a mil-dot reticle on top. Longest deer shot I got with it was about 800m.
