LONGMONT, Colo. (April 1) - Dozens of high school students protested a temporary school policy forbidding students from displaying the U.S. flag- (SNIP)

Students were warned about the policy Friday and several were suspended, although Stumpf would not provide details. Then, about 100 students protested during lunch time.

Student Dustin Carlson told Denver station KCNC-TV that he was suspended for two days.

I am also very surprised that the teaching staff has failed so completely in instilling some sort of patriotism, belief in the democratic system of government, and an understanding of how a government works in a civilized society.

I would like to know from principal Stumpf how an American can vilify a person in America with "Old Glory." This man should be fired.

In Houston, while students were "marching" down the street hollering a bunch of "our people" nonsense, the PRINCIPAL went outside and hoisted the MEXICO flag on the school flagpole.

And was not fired.

I've said it many times before, but this seems like a MOST appropriate time to say it again: Political correctness, combined with leaders too spineless to eradicate it, is gonna be our un-doing.
