Even mock trials or debates would be better than the circus the dems are running. How do you feel Alito did on the Vanguard question?

Yeah - you aren't kidding about the DEMs running a circus here.

I think Alito did fine on the Vanguard question. Add facts and comments from GOP Senators and ethics experts, the Vanguard issue becomes a petty complaint - much ado about nothing.

The CAP issue is a little more complex to defuse, but he did fine with that too. Biden thinks he can make hay with it, which shows how petty Biden is.

Alito is kicking butt today. Yesterday he was a bit nervous, it worried me a bit. Today he's showing us all how great he is and making the dembos look like the idiots' they are.

I'd say half the Dems got beat up in grade school. I would have taken on Kerry with no qualms....and I'm a girl.

I'm glad to hear he's doing well.

I turned it on during the swimmer's questions and had to turn it off again when my blood pressure started rising!

Biden:.."don't take this personally, but..."

And we're back to who Alito is replacing - which again DOESN'T HAVE RELEVANCE

"Alioto"

"Osama Obama"

Ted the Swimmer's brain is water-logged.

Is he going to sit in the Senate as long as Bobby Byrd?

I guess we'll have years left to watch this trainwreck called TK.

pffffftttt...yeah, some campus, somewhere.

What an unbearable man he is.

Now he's discussing the NEW "replacement" clause (I'm still searching for it somewhere in the constitution)...

I intended to add that the Senate is commandering far more authority here than the founding Fathers ever intended. Therefore we need a Constitutional Amendment requiring that US Senators win their seats in Nation wide elections.

That goes in the wrong direction. Repeal the 17th - no popular direct election of Senators.
