Each of the eighteen senators on the Judiciary Cmte. will have 30 minutes to question Supreme Court nominee Samual Alito today during round one. Sen. Arlen Specter, as chairman, will begin, then they will alternate by party in order of individual seniority. Round two starts on Wednesday.

Alito : no evidence that the 10 year-old was searched abusively.

That particular case, Doe v Groody, involved a drug search where the search warrant included not only the house of the suspected drug dealer but also specifically included "all persons in the house".

The search of the 10 year-old girl was conducted by a female officer.

If Ted Kennedy had his way and 10 year-olds become the legal equivalent of sealed diplomatic pouches that cannot be legally searched, every drug dealer in America would be dragging a 10 year old along with them as their drug mule.
