EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE 'YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME'

With the MOAB as inspiration (and previous experience BUILDING morale cheering on high school football) everyone across the country could rally quite simply. This would give everyone who can't make it to Crawford an opportunity to actively be a part of the NOT SO SILENT MAJORITY and support the caravan. It would make quite a statement to have these pop up all over the country:

It only takes one double bedsheet and a can of spray paint, four stones and some twine. Pin the sheet to the clothesline- or go ahead and tie it to two trees in the front yard; wrap each stone in a corner, gathering the material around the stone and tie it in, leaving enough twine to wrap around the tree. Spray the message. If you don't think you can freehand it well, do it in pencil or chalk first.

CINDY SHEEHAN SPEAK FOR YOURSELF (NATALIE HEALY-N.H. KIA SEAL MOM) YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME (DEBORAH JOHNS-CA MARINE MOM)

if you're good: ) you could add MOVE AMERICA FORWARD

Any one that wants to take one of these to a rally could mount this easily on two lengths of thin PVC, which is relatively inexpensive, by sewing (by hand or machine) a hem along each side, and sewing the upper end shut. PVC can be cut to fit in a trunk, and rejoined (with whatever that piece is called that joins PVC together : )

I'd love to know the back story on it.
Where was that protest? Who was the guy
holding the sign? Where'd the poster, and the
idea for it come from?..What were the reactions
of any Ghouls of 60's Past, who saw it? :o)

I don't know, kiddo. I guess just keeping the thread bumped???

I like the way this is turning out. The left is so.....weird, aren't they? :)

Gotta get off of here for the night. I'll bump it in the morning again.

Nite all!

Thanks.

BTW. I made a great flagpole out of PVC. lol.

I cut 3-4'length, diagonally on one end. Pounded it in the ground. Stood a 10' length, just a bit smaller in diameter, inside it. Sewed a sleeve on my flag, and WaaLa'!

I don't know about all that, but I bought a bumpersticker with the same message off the internet a couple years ago. Displayed it on the rear window of my car (along with "Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my gun") until I traded it off in February of this year.

RonDog, BlueCollarChristian, Blurblogger and I don't recall offhand whom else, there were probably a dozen of us.

Good Idea-- Can't spare a bedsheet-or afford a can of spray paint at this moment --but I do have some sidewalk chalk
I don't like the children using--and the college kids are always writing stuff on the walks locally -- SO I become
the Midnight Skulker of sidewalk art.Cindy -You don't speak for me.

That young Lady and her folk are welcome here ANYTIME.
"Wherefore take unto you ,the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to withstand the evil day,and having done all to stand.Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breatplate of righteousnessand your feet shod withth epreparation of th egospel of peace.
Above all ,taking hte sheild of faith, wherewithye shall be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked.and take the helmut of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God..." seems applicable given the principalities and powers of darkness we battle against.
