Announcing the official opening of a new web site for Military Families. The site has been constructed to answer a need to promote positive messages from the families of our troops. Families may request availability for media contact, use the soapbox for feedback and read data with a more positive message than is available through the main stream media.

War has gone to a new level on the home front. The media has chosen to over-promote the voice of the few instead presenting a balanced report. It is unfortunate that families have to demand to be heard but unless we join together to speak out will we not be heard.

Sending letters and care packages is extremely important but we must also take up the challenge in the war of propaganda on the home front. The site needs to grow and can be feed by feedback and referrals to good news stories.

Hi again. I did not mention on our last exchange on Tony Snow's Thread, but I am a retired military guy. 5 years active USAF and 17 years as a rag tag militia man in the WisANG. This site is a great idea and I salute you for launching it and I again salute your boys for their service.

But don't count on CNN camping on your steps or putting you on the air. You and all the great moms you represent just don't fit the CNN Left wing agenda.

Let's get the politics out of this war. We have to be honest and truthful. We will praise Republicans and Democrats who show true support for the mission and no politician will be safe if they use this war to promote their political career! We need to rally the families of active duty miltary. Let's git 'er done.

Thanks. It is going to be an uphill battle just to get a word in edgewise. It may be an impossible task but I cannot just site here and let only part of my family fight the war on terror.
