When is this pathetic group going to wake up. This website http://www.gop.com/ is a disgrace. And they are going to compete with a computer savvy group like moveon.org? I know what I'm talking about here. I just completed a great site of my own. Granted gop.com is a beta version, but the retards should know you test the site off line before you 'show' it to the public. First the artwork reminds me of communist China - the overall design sucks. Nothing works - you have to sign up multiple times - the links don't work. Of course there is...

A BRITISH government minister has asked California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to shut down a website that allows men to rate prostitutes, including many working in London. Harriet Harman, minister for women and equality, told the ruling Labor Party's annual conference that "Punternet" fuels the demand for prostitution - a vice she said degrades women and puts them at risk. She said the web site was a "very sinister development" in the trade and exploitation of women and allows guests to compare and rate services in the same way as they would a restaurant, a hotel or a holiday. Pimps put...

LONDON (Reuters) - A British government minister asked California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday to shut down a U.S. website that allows men to rate prostitutes, including many working in London. Harriet Harman, minister for women and equality, told the ruling Labor Party's annual conference that "Punternet" fuels the demand for prostitution -- a vice she said degrades women and puts them at risk. She said the web site was a "very sinister development" in the trade and exploitation of women and allows guests to compare and rate services in the same way as they would a restaurant, a hotel...

The goal was to build a reporting system that allows the public to follow the zigzagging paths of dollars awarded under the $787 billion federal stimulus package. A financial GPS of sorts. But despite federal lawmakers' pledge of transparency, the final stages of most money trails, along with key information about job impacts, will remain invisible to users of the Recovery.org website when it debuts next month. Only details of a stimulus grant's passage through its first two stops after it leaves the federal government must be reported, according to guidance memos from the White House Office of Management and...

SNIPPET: "The United States government's stepped-up courting of Islamist groups is on display at the State Department web portal www.america.gov. The site bills itself as a place to "meet the people" and "explore the values and ideas that define the character of the United States." But when it comes to American Muslim organizations, that often means providing a U.S. government stamp of approval to organizations linked to the Muslim Brotherhood such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) or apologists like the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC)." SNIPPET: "Shea said this discrimination...

To the other authors who have done a stellar job of remembrance today, I say thank you. It was a somber walk thru those times, and a moving memorial. Yet on this day mourning the loss of loved ones, revisiting the vunerability we felt, and even the anger that still lives in many of us, there is a spot of good news that may give you a small smile. For the second year running, top jihad sites affiliated with Al Qaeda have mysteriously started exhibiting "technical problems" on the eve of 911, forcing the militants to shut down and lose...

I own the domain conservativereports.com and I have toyed around with different ideas for it, but I think a good use for it would be to build a website which features video and articles of what Canadian and British politicians said about their healthcare plans before they were enacted and as they were being vetted. Then, side-by-side with those clips and articles, have stories and videos which show the true results of those plans in action. I would wager that the talking points on the "the opposition is lying" quotes are all there for everyone to see. Showing the people...

TEL AVIV – The website for the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem ignores Jews and the state of Israel while providing news and services geared primarily toward Arabs and Palestinians, a pro-Israel group has charged. "This disclosure is almost beyond belief," stated Harvey Schwartz, chairman of American Israeli Action Coalition. "It is as if the United States is totally denying the existence of Israel or Israelis. We do not believe that this is in accordance with the will of the American people."

A Kansas teacher says he was wrongfully terminated for his conservative views. Tim Latham has been teaching history and U.S. Government for over 19 years. But after teaching for just one year in the Lawrence School District in Lawrence, Kansas, Latham says his contract was not renewed because school officials did not like his conservative views -- particularly a teacher website that Latham hosted and paid for himself. A teacher coach confronted him on that issue. "She had concerns about it. I've never had a complaint about it -- nothing but compliments. Parents love it because of their access to...

The site presently lists programs being funded by the stimulus cash, but fails to show any details on who received it. According to Earl Devaney, Chairman of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board (which manages the website), that information won't be available until October 10th, 2009, but warned that it will be a challenge to have ready to present spending data in five months. A challenge?

CONNEAUT — City administrators have sent a letter to a local Website operator, ordering her to remove information related to municipal offices, City Council members learned at Monday's work session. The cease-and-desist order was sent last week to Katie Schwartz, who oversees the everythingconneautohio.com Web site. The letter was authorized by City Manager Robert Schaumleffel Jr. Ward 1 Councilman Dave Campbell, who has promoted the Web site, was outraged by the letter, calling it “garbage. We cannot dictate how she runs her business,” he said.

As critics slam the administration's Recovery.gov website for a lack of accessible data, a private company has launched a rival — Recovery.com. Onvia, a 12-year old consulting group, started Recovery.com with the goal of providing real-time data on spending that comes out of the $787 billion stimulus bill. "If the money is being spent now, we need folks looking at the dollars being spent now to flag anything that might be inappropriate or might be wasteful," Jerry Brito, a senior research fellow at George Mason University, told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee

I thought it might be interesting to see which right-of-center websites actually receive the most traffic. So, I went to Alexa.com and ranked the 50 sites on the right. Do keep in mind that... 1) Alexa doesn't distinguish between top level domains and their sub-directories. So, for example, a blog on Townhall and Townhall itself would have the same rating. Additionally, websites hosted at places like Blogspot, which list each blog on a sub-directory, can't be measured. My guess is that it only knocked 2-4 websites max off the list including Ace of Spades HQ, Gateway Pundit, & Big Hollywood....

Until a few weeks ago, Tim Edwards was just another one of the men begging for change at a busy Houston underpass, ignored by most drivers who sped on past without a glance. Now, thanks to an Internet marketing campaign and unlikely allies, Edwards has become the human face of homelessness to thousands of online viewers drawn to his Web site by its deliberately controversial name — Pimp This Bum. During regular Webcasts, dozens of visitors to www.pimpthisbum.com/ ask questions about Edwards' life and his slow fall from office manager with a home, a car, and a future to an...

Beat The Conference Report, beat the No-Stimulus Bill! Senate Showdown Looms in a Couple Days The Senate mustered 61 votes to squeak through the Collins/Nelson amendment, better known as the “compromise” stimulus plan, which of course is really a NO-stimulus plan! If you listen to the mainstream media, this means the fight is over, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and President Obama win, and it’s time to move on. Not so fast! The so-called compromise that will soon be produced by a House-Senate conference committee is another disastrous bill. In fact, they actually reduced the amount of tax relief in the...

Like most of the Internet, we're more than a little excited about having our first truly tech-savvy president here in the U.S. Unfortunately, for all our fawning over the idea of a government that doesn't still think dial-up is modern technology, we've neglected that putting more emphasis on the Internet makes one more susceptible to attacks by hackers and other computer criminals. We've already seen the Obama campaign's Web site hijacked, and fake Obama e-mails spread viruses. We've even seen our fair share of fake Obama Web sites loaded with malicious software. Now hackers are trying to directly reach Obama...

Barack Obama’s transition website was illegally authorized to register as an official U.S. government domain and Judicial Watch has exclusively obtained documents to prove it, including evidence that the authorization was initially denied. When Team Obama announced its infamous change.gov website, Judicial Watch quickly filed a public records request with the agency (General Services Administration—GSA) that authorized it because the campaign clearly didn’t meet the strict eligibility requirements for official government websites. The GSA, which manages and supports the basic functioning of federal agencies, specifically limits coveted “.gov” websites to U.S. government organizations at the federal, Native Sovereign Nation, state and...

Another Campaign Promise Broken-- Obama announced at the CNN YouTube debate last year that he would be willing to meet with the world's dictators including the Iranian regime in his first year in office. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1dSPrb5w_k Here is the transcript: QUESTION: In 1982, Anwar Sadat traveled to Israel, a trip that resulted in a peace agreement that has lasted ever since. In the spirit of that type of bold leadership, would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela,...

Here’s some change that supporters of President-elect Obama may not want to see: all of the policy commitments on specific issues have been removed from his transition Web site. On Nov. 7, global health advocates noticed that some of the details of Obama’s “fight global poverty” statement had been removed. Specifically, the site no longer promised to fully fund debt cancellation for the world’s poorest countries or provide the full U.S. contribution to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Activists already were concerned, since boosting foreign aid was the one thing Obama mentioned during the campaign when...

Over the weekend President-elect Barack Obama scrubbed Change.gov, his transition Web site, deleting most of what had been a massive agenda copied directly from his campaign Web site. Gone are the promises on how an Obama administration would handle 25 different agenda items - everything from Iraq and immigration to taxes and urban policy - all items laid out on his campaign Web site, www.BarackObama.com. Instead, the official agenda on Change.gov has been boiled down to one vague paragraph proclaiming a plan “to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear...

A Web phenomenon is sweeping across pro-life circles, largely under the radar of mainstream news. With the full support of American Life League, and only eight days before an historic election, a Web site called "Just One Judge" is invigorating the pro-life movement. WASHINGTON, Aug. 22, 2008 – The U.S. Labor Department launched a Web site called “America’s Heroes at Work” this week to help veterans afflicted with traumatic-brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder succeed in the workplace. “America’s Heroes at Work really focuses on the employment challenges of our returning veterans from the war on terror, if they are living with a brain injury or living with a stress disorder,” Charles S. Ciccolella, the Labor Department’s assistant secretary for Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, told bloggers in a Aug. 22 teleconference to discuss the new Web site. Ciccolella said the Labor...

Barack Obama's campaign scrubbed his presidential Web site over the weekend to remove criticism of the U.S. troop "surge" in Iraq, the Daily News has learned. The presumed Democratic nominee replaced his Iraq issue Web page, which had described the surge as a "problem" that had barely reduced violence. "The surge is not working," Obama's old plan stated, citing a lack of Iraqi political cooperation but crediting Sunni sheiks - not U.S. military muscle - for quelling violence in Anbar Province. The News reported Sunday that insurgent attacks have fallen to the fewest since March 2004.

“Exercise of editorial control” makes Obama 100 percent responsible for his site’s hate speech against Jews, pro-Clinton Black people, and seniors We created our own blog at my.barackobama.com, which carries the following disclaimer: “Content on blogs in My.BarackObama represents the opinions of community members and in no way should be interpreted as endorsed or approved by the campaign.” By deleting our blog and disabling our account, the Obama campaign just blew its disclaimer and can now be held 100 percent responsible for the anti-Semitic, racist, misogynist, and ageist hate speech it allowed to stand (in some cases for more than...

Kathleen Seidel is a New Hampshire mother of two. She runs a blog, Neurodiversity.com, about autism--a topic of special interest to her as one of her children had an "autistic spectrum diagnosis." There is a theory that thimerosal, a preservative formerly used in vaccines, causes autism. Seidel has written skeptically of that theory, and of the trial lawyers who have sought to cash in on it. Last month one of those lawyers, Clifford Shoemaker, had Seidel served with a subpoena demanding that she report for a deposition and produce a voluminous collection of documents, described in her motion to quash...

WASHINGTON - Federal investigators have found that Sen. Joe Lieberman's re-election campaign caused its Web site to crash on the eve of the August 2006 primary, a collapse he had blamed on supporters of Democratic challenger Ned Lamont. "In short, the server that hosted the joe2006.com Web site failed because it was overutilized and misconfigured," according to an Oct. 25, 2006, e-mail included in FBI documents obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press. "There was no evidence of (an) attack." Investigators added that, once reported by the media, the accusations by Lieberman's campaign helped overwhelm the Web site on primary day,...

(IsraelNN.com) The world's largest website name registrar, Network Solutions, is blocking web surfers from accessing an anti-Islam site - prompting concerns that fear of Islamic violence has become so powerful that it even controls WWW content. Network Solutions developed the domain name registration system in 1993 and was the world's only domain name provider until 1999, when the domain name industry opened up to competition. Today, the company hosts seven million domain names. The Washington Post reports that Network Solutions is now, for the first time, blocking access to a site that has not yet put up any substantial content....

A black Chicago church attended by Democrat presidential frontrunner Barack Obama has removed from the "About Us" page of its website an entire section outlining a radical belief system for blacks, WND has learned. Trinity United Church of Christ, which describes itself as "unashamedly black," drew fire last week after inflammatory sermons by its senior pastor were broadcast on cable TV news. Obama responded he was shocked to hear the profane anti-American and anti-white rhetoric delivered by his Rev. Jeremiah Wright and strongly objected to it. While critics say the sermons reflect militantly segregationist views, Obama says they were taken...

"Planned Parenthood is an excellent organization that helps people by focusing on how people actually are behaving (i.e., having sex, watching porn, doing drugs, etc.), as opposed to helping people based on how they should be behaving (abstaining from sex, watching the news, eating healthy, etc.)," Mech, a pornography producer and...
