CHENEY 2008!

I wish. At this point, I'll take ANYBODY but Giuliani or McCain.

"How about them moving to Maryland and picking apart Barb Mikulski?"

Now that is a really bad visual, but then there is nothing as silly and stupid as a Maryland liberal. Babs is all of that and with that voice....eeekkk!

He should look to RUDY...he is running...and will win.

You mean Rudy the big spending, abortion loving, gay rights supporting, gun grabbing, soft on illegal immigration, LIBERAL REPUBLICAN? He doesn't have a chance in the primaries.

There is a reason why Ruina Giussolini is the media's favorite Republican. He would be a DISASTER for our party and the presidency.

Name one issue, other than law and order, that Rudy the Rockefeller Republican is conservative on? He is the most OVERRATED politician in America.

Rudy is not a moderate Republican, he is a LIBERAL Republican.

I disagree. Cheney has a form of charisma. He doesn't have the slickness or eloquence of Clinton. However, his more forthright approach is appealing to many people.

He has a backbone, and it shows. That does a lot for his charisma.

When Cheney makes a statement, you know what he believes in and that he will actively persue his goals.

I once heard someone jokingly state that Dick Cheney is to conservitive republicans what Britney Spears is to teenagers when explaining why Bush chose Cheney to be his running mate.

He may or may not have the support in Aug. 2005, that may change in a year or two. Depends who else emerges.

It would be a shame for the Republicans to reject Rudy. He is smart enough to match wits with any any foreign leader, and deal with the public sector unions which virtually ruined N.Y.C. and are ruining California and other states, since their emergence in the 60's.

He's very conservative on foreign policy and taxes as well.

I don't believe I will support Rudy in the primaries because I am pro-life, pro-gun and such, but lets face one thing: The things Rudy is liberal on aren't likely to be affected one way or another anytime soon, and the things he is good on, namely foreign policy, terrorism, and taxes, are much, much more likely to be big issues.

I think Rudy should run for Governor of New York. It would do the country, and his party, a lot of good.

He is the most OVERRATED politician in America.

Overrated? Read "Prince Of The City", if you haven't already. The only other person in politics who has even attempted to take on the public sector unions is Schwarzenegger, and he's getting creamed.

As far as "abortion-loving", I seriously doubt Giuliani loves that operation. Gay rights? What would you like to do, make 'em all move to San Francisco?

As a politician in N.Y., isn't it s.o.p. to make deals with your constituency?

Referring to Rudy Guiliani, you wrote, "He would be a DISASTER for our party and the presidency."

In order for Rudy to be a disaster for either, he would need to win. Insofar as I can tell, he's the only established Republican face with a chance against Hillary--with the possible exception of John McCain, who seemingly belongs to some shadow party consisting of himself and an adoring media. I left my Magic 8-Ball at home, but I'm guessing Rudy would win the primaries regardless of his RINO status among many--including yourself--in the party base. His leadership skills are proven, as are his administrative and managerial abilities, and he is already nationally known. Calling his candidacy a disaster is pure hyperbole. Hillary Clinton is the disaster waiting to happen. Find the candidate it takes to beat her, and we can split idealogical hairs later.

I think Cheney plans on running. When asked by a french reporter in Saudi Arabia he said he would not rule it out. Perhaps he keeps it a secret for national security purposes. There are so many liberals out there, like Maxine Waters, encouraging violence against the President (some even killing the President)while others talk about possible impeachment...the only thing that keeps them from doing it is the thought of a President Cheney. If Cheney were to come out and tell those wackos his real intentions, they may no longer hold back with their evil deeds.
