So a few days ago, google wouldn't change their typeface to honor Memorial Day. But FL Wright's birthday sure is important isn't it?

Frank Lloyd Wright

Sorry...can't get worked up over this one.

It would be nice if they did it, but they are not obligated to do so.

(Frankly, I have never noticed Google's logo change prior to this.)

I'm sure they see themselves as a "global" company and above the fray of petty wars and squabbles.

You know, they one's where heros fought and died to preserve freedom.

They really do go out of there way to change for what many would consider obscure dates, this one for example. Many here remarked on the previous thread that is was strange that Memorial Day wasn't noted.

You'd be hard pressed to find any Internet portal that isn't run by lefties.

Many are based in California/SF area.

Well, sure. But it's still worth noting the inconsistencies they display - mainly because Google's influence is growing, and it's only a matter of time before their search results start filtering out things that their owners find politically objectionable.
