A popular comedian who got her start on YouTube apologized after being accused of mocking "African American Vernacular English" in a tweet intended to poke fun at TikTok moms. Colleen Ballinger produces comedic videos under the persona "Miranda Sings," but she was forced to sing an apologetic tune after trying to make an innocuous joke. "Yo BRUH tiktok so lit no cap i'm gonna yeet over there so fast low key. if i don't get on fyp i'll be big mad and big yikes like that's high key not straight fire and so sus. bet. but low key fr tiktok...

The University of Florida administration is preparing for upcoming Halloween festivities by reminding students that the school’s “Bias Education and Response Team” is prepared to handle complaints about offensive costumes. Additionally, the school will provide 24/7 counseling services to anyone who is offended by a particular costume. An administration newsletter published on October 10 warns students “to think about your choices of costumes and themes . . .” because “[s]ome Halloween costumes reinforce stereotypes of particular races, genders, cultures, or religions. Regardless of intent, these costumes can perpetuate negative stereotypes, causing harm and offense to groups of people.” The newsletter...

(Some people in Murfreesboro TN need to get out more) A woman's husband said she was sexually assaulted when she was squirted with water from a toy at a hibachi restaurant. The woman, Isabelle Lassiter, and her husband, James Lassiter, called the police but refused to file charges when they arrived Monday. "It was a sexual-style assault on my wife," James Lassiter said Tuesday. The toy, used during the cook's show at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, was made to look like a little boy, and it shoots water when its plastic pants are pulled down. Isabelle Lassiter said she thinks the...
  • Reporter Claims She’s Offended by Trump Calling Elizabeth Warren ‘Pocahontas’ (VIDEO)

At a recent press briefing where Trump referred to Elizabeth Warren as Pocahontas, a freelance journalist named Nicole Robertson claimed she found the comment offensive. Like Elizabeth Warren, Robertson claims to be a Native American. You would think she’d be more offended by Elizabeth Warren lying about such a thing than Trump calling her out for it. Furthermore, Warren has been shooting her mouth off and insulting Trump for weeks now. What is he supposed to do, just take it and not push back at all? This is just further proof that the media is made up almost entirely of...
  • Students at Lena Dunham’s college offended by lack of fried chicken

Students at an ultra-liberal Ohio college are in an uproar over the fried chicken, sushi and Vietnamese sandwiches served in the school cafeterias, complaining the dishes are “insensitive” and “culturally inappropriate.” Gastronomically correct students at Oberlin College — alma mater of Lena Dunham — are filling the school newspaper with complaints and demanding meetings with campus dining officials and even the college president. General Tso’s chicken was made with steamed chicken instead of fried — which is not authentically Chinese, and simply “weird,” one student bellyached in the Oberlin Review. Others were up in arms over banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches...

Target is now under fire after selling a shirt in the women’s section of the store with the word “TROPHY” printed across it. Some have called the shirt sexist and suggested that it objectifies women. Since the shirt has premiered in stores and online, many outraged customers have taken to social media, Fox 2 News reported. “Hey Target, I’m in the men’s section and don’t see a Trophy shirt here,” one Twitter user wrote. “Why is that?” Another Twitter user complained about the variety of titles offered on graphic t-shirts in Target stores. “Who’s gonna [sic] sell me a shirt...

Prejudice in fast-food ad ruins appetiteBob Ray Sanders commentary Maybe it is because the country has been immersed in the saga of U.S. Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss., that a currently running fast food TV commercial hit me the wrong way when I first saw it Sunday afternoon. But I think not.No, the more I think of the ad -- designed to get the viewer to try two new sandwiches offered by the restaurant chain -- the more I'm convinced that it is a not-so-subtle play on the overt racial discrimination that once was the norm in this country.I'm so offended, in...
