I had not been on Newsxmax.com today...so I just saw this moments ago.
I thought it was very nice of them to have the picture as their entire front page on the web today.

As you may recall, they did something like this for President Reagan.
Very respecting.
A fitting tribute to a good man.

I saw this earlier, what an awesome pic! I'm going to use it as my wallpaper for a while.

I got the "Big Butt Lady Bending Over" pic....ya...that sort of took the "umph" out of the picture of the Pope.

I have doubts about this photo. His shadow has a pointed head, yet he is wearing a simple cap. Also, the Pope is wearing a robe and his feet are not shown....but there are shadows under his feet.

I remember pictures from when he took this trip years ago. He has on a white parka and white snow boots.

I've seen this picture in several magazines and books. One of the weekly mags ran it in their tribute editions this week. It was either Time or Newsweek.

My current wallpaper:
It wouldn't much matter if the Pope had no shadow and was carrying a bowling ball, it's still a great pic real or fake.
