The formatting is a little strange, but I appreciate your posting this. Very interesting.
"The Clearwater Bar Association: Cozy with Scientology" ping!
Thanks for the post.
It's very interesting.
Thanks for this post. Needed to know this.
Moral Absolutes ping.
Very interesting article connecting Judge Greer, Michael Schiavo and the evil cult of Scientology. I didn't see Felos' name; I wonder if he is connected with L.Ron Hubbard's science fiction "religion" as well.
I have a very good friend whose parents were heavily into Scientology. She was thrown out of the house at age 15 because she wouldn't go along with the program. Recently, when her 5 year old child developed a rare bone disease, her mother told her that it was her fault the child is disabled. The Scientology way - no compassion.
BTW, Hubbard's stated mentor was Alastair Crowley, the noted black "witch" Satan worshipper and homosexual child molester.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
It's noteworthy that those who are cheerleaders for one evil are usually proponents of a host of other evils.
And often those who are on the side of virtue in one area will be on the side of light generally.
Those who love darkness love all evil. They love death, since they hate the source of life. They can't create, so out of envy they want to destroy what God has created. Their support for stem cell "research" is just what you said it is - cannibalism. They could give a rip about healing; they just like it because it's more death.
Thank You
I cannot believe the garbage and innuendo in the above article. It's guilt by alleged association at its worst. Talk about a stretch. A lawyer is given an award by another lawyer who may be affiliated in some manner w/Scientology (of course how is not explained), and therefore the lawyer himself (Greer) is somehow affiliated with Scientology too? This is nutz. Greer is a Lutheran, not a Scientologist. The leaps in logic necessary to try to make some connection with the Schiavo case and Scientology is absolutely astounding. The Schiavo supporters will go to the ends of the earth with lies, illogic, innuendo, irrationality, insults and name-calling to achieve their end. The continual and patent falsehoods put forth in the Schiavo cause are astounding. It's all based on emotion, just like that which Pubs accuse Dems of acting upon. This is really scary in its implications. It's just like the communists, any means to an end. Some of you people really need to get a grip here consider a little introspection, and start basing your arguments on facts, not fiction, not things you make up to advance your cause, not outright lies. May you people never get any serious control within the Republican Party.
Sounds more like the Rosemary Bird Award.
Since when has Greer become a Lutheran? In a recent interview with William Levesque of the St. Petersburg Times Greer said he was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, but has stopped attending because of a negative article appearing in a Baptist publication that his church suported. Greer said he also has other issues with Calvary and no longer donates. If I were a member of Calvary Baptist Church, I'd say "good riddance."
This looks like the usual legal incest in the so called legal community. The Scientology connection is appalling. I have no use for that cult..... all kinds of stuff on the internet about L Ron's explorations of drugs, Satanism and black magic back in the 1950s in Los Angeles.

SCOTUS is making all of these activities constitutionally protected based upon nonexistent emanating penumbras. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to discover David Souter is a fan of Crowley too.
"They presented the John U. Bird award to the Pinellas-Pasco Circuit judge on May 15, 2004. This prestigious award, which is the Clearwater bar's highest honor for a judge, was granted to Judge Greer for the way he has handled himself while overseeing the Terri Schiavo case!"
To counter this, I've awarded "Judge" Greer the prestigious 'Chuck U Farley' award for the way he has handled the Terri Schiavo case...
LOL You need to get a grip. Thanks for posting a bucketful of blather
