The National Socialists used EXACTLY the same term, "processing." to decribe the procedure for taking humans from the trains up until cremation.
I see these stories on her and don't believe them. There is an agenda for those pushing these stories, they portray her as "all there" for some reason I don't understand.
You don't believe them...do you believe your own eyes? Go see the videos. I had a friend with MS who was in much worse shape than Terri and we remained good friends, interacted, watched movies, went shopping (She in a reclining wheel chair). She indicated more than once to me that she was happy to be alive, despite it. She understood that life is a gift from God.
Please explain why it would be either Bush brother's fault? The fault lies in the sick legal system that has been fostered and supported by first, liberal politicians and then second, by some conservative politicians who don't want to "rock the boat." Terry Schiavo's sad situation was inevitable with the laws, as they are, on the books AND helped along by the fact that her case has mostly been decided by a corrupt judge and a homicidal EX-husband and his rabidly pro-euthanasia lawyer. Please! Let's place blame where it belongs.
In his role as Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush did everything he could to help Terri. It was all overturned, by whom? President Bush? No! The lousy Florida courts. Blaming either Bush brother is like blaming all white people for slavery. This article is a little on the hysterical side, IMO.
The Good Governor (and I mean that, truly) could still do more...there is still more within in his power, but I think he's afraid of political fallout. He saved her once -- God love him! But if he doesn't act again, the "good" in Governor will no longer apply.
Does he have the stones to do this?
Need more caffeine....
You just reminded me, I need more caffeine, too!
Gov. Jeb Bush and President George Bush need to act in accordance with state and federal law.
Schiavo should be preserved, but it's not as if the President or govenor can enter a stay of execution. Sadly she's got fewer rights then if she were a convicted murderer sitting on death row.
Both the Governor and the President have the power to go out publically and denounce murder. The Governor has the power to demand the impeachemnt of a judge who not only advocates, but encourages murder.
They can do this loudly and with COURAGE - but politicians today have little courage to uphold morals and the Constitution.
The President of the United States is the titular head of this country. He is supposed to represent the will of the people. I am sure the people want Terri to live -- if not -- this country is DAMNED.
The governor of Florida can save the live of a convicted murderer and give them amnesty --- you are telling me that he has no power to save an innocent life condemed to die by an activist judge with questionable morals?
He may suffer politically from the leftist murdering fringe of this society, but they are NOT the United States of America.
I'm afraid posting the National Guard is probably what it would take. Sadly, we no longer seem to be a nation "of the people, by the people, for the people." It is now, "of the COURTS, by the COURTS, for the COURTS." Re: the National Guard. That might be effective in the short run, a few days, but in the long run, I don't think that would work either.
By your statement you seem to be saying that someone must be " all there" to have any claim to a right to life. Well I guess we just better get to the rehab centers, nursing homes, hospitals and sweep the world clean of all those who are not " all there". Does this apply to only those who are not " all there" under any and all circumstances or can we snuff out the passed out drunk- the unconscious injury victim and maybe even those on certain medications which might leave one a bit distracted?. Oh and you are right we do have an agenda. To defend the innate God given dignity of human life against a culture of death which sees some lives as " life unworthy of life".
Just more pile on for the millions of children parents kill each year.
Terri won't be able to say "no" when she's doped up with morphine.
"Allowed" to die?
Question: A president or governor can pardon a criminal on death row. Can the president or governor also pardon a non-criminal under a death sentence?
