EAST COVENTRY - Federal authorities have determined four men found videotaping footage near the Limerick nuclear plant were not involved in terrorist activities.
Jerri Williams, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Philadelphia, said it appears the four men from Guatemala were making a "tourist video," highlighting portions of the area that happened to include footage of the Limerick Generating Station.
Williams said authorities determined that three of the men were illegal aliens. They are currently being held by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Office in Philadelphia, she said.
The fourth man is not an illegal alien and was released following the investigation, she said.
No criminal charges will be filed against the four men, whose names are not being released.
East Coventry police said in a press release that at 3 p.m. Monday, a delivery driver reported seeing four men sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of Koons Steel. The witness saw one of the passengers videotaping out the vehicle's front window, in the direction of the generating station, police said.
The delivery driver then saw the men drive to Towpath Park, near Route 724 and Peterman Road, police said. When officers arrived, they found one of the men videotaping near the boat launch ramp, again in the direction of the generating station towers, police said.
The men were detained pending the investigation by Chester County detectives, Pennsylvania State Police from Skippack and the FBI.
Kudos to the delivery driver.

You're right....
Nothing to see here..... Just some illegal aliens videotaping a power plant FROM TWO DIFFERENT ANGLES.....
Pay no attention.......move right along......nothing to see.....
(rolling eyes)
Let's see 4 men in a car, 3 of them illegal aliens, take the time to take "tourist videos". Yeah right. Man have I got some real estate for the authorities.
LOL -These were illegal aliens shooting a travelogue that just happened to include a power plant? Unlike the FBI I find it more than a little odd. If true this is very weird.

just the "B" crew shooting some additional footage for Michael Moore
Ditto everything that's been said - illegals, video taping nuclear plant from not one but at least two angles, playing tourists.... So, did the FBI check out their references, their behaviors since illegally crossing into the US, their behaviors and contacts before illegally crossing the border, their jobs, their living quarters, and whose name was the vechile registered? Oh, never mind, they're just hard working peasants trying to make a living for their family back in Mexico who got a ride into town to vote Dem-wit and pick up their SSN check and US driver's license.
Oh look a photo safari !
When stopped by authorities, the men said they were actually looking for the river near the plant to do some fishing. After a quick visual search of their car, the men were arrested. They had no fishing gear in their car, and when confronted with questions on the subject, the men revealed they had never been fishing and didn't know what they were supposed to have with them. The men did have cameras and video equipment in their bags though.
Don't know what ever became of it, the incident slipped my mind until I saw this story.

Three illegals hailing from Guatemala,
In Limerick raised quite a holla,
When all were arrested,
Just filming, they protested,
You buy that, I've a bridge for ten dolla.
fyi
Pretty good!
Yeah, but the middle meter was a little off. :)
Three men went to Limerick Power
To point there a camera and glower
The cops saw them do it
And I can intuit
The three on a plane by the hour
