I don't see how sitting would end that problem. Sitting gives them the opposite wall to aim at.

Personally, I enjoy standing backwards and 'shooting' over my shoulder into a Muslim Punch Bowl (aka, commode).

My official position on all this is that these broads ought to be grateful that we lifted the seat UP in the first place without this "mother may I?" crap of putting it back down. Of course, I'm a cranky old divorced guy, but you can bet I'd be a hell of a lot crankier if I had to deal with this nonsense! Nip it! Nip it in the bud! or we'll be living under some kind of "feminist sharia law" that call for amputation of certain body parts for repeated failure to comply. It'll give new meaning to the old complaint of some men, "My wife cut me off years ago."
That is a great article!! It has everything to do with the Socialsit Agenda and the Feminiztion of the US. Trying to turn us men into a bunch of Woosies. That's going to take some time to bever be completed.
They are trying to control what we do and what we say. The Hate Crimes Bills, check out Philly Christians -- We cannot allow that to happen! These Hate Crime Bills only supress our Freedom of speech and self expression. In Philly it has gone to far!!

The people in biblical Soddom also lived a normal life, loving their families and living day to day, so it is in America 2004.We reject this notion, because we are the mighty, the righteous and the just. We are the most giving, sharing and loving people EVER to live on the Earth. Talk about arrogance, and we should be the picture in the dictionary alongside the word.
Biblically speaking, when the house of Israel strayed from the path of righteousness, when they turned their backs on their God, another nation was sent as a warning to them, to repent and turn away from sin. When the message was ignored, they were allowed to be beaten, and taken into captivity. Unless we as a nation, turn from our sin and ask forgiveness, we too will be beaten into submission. History does repeat itself, especially to those that ignore the lessons of it.
If you really want to protest, leave the seat down while you stand. But don't blame me if she shoots you for it.

I see the march of Globalization every time I go to the PHilippines. Some of it is bad-- families split apart because the children work in the big city, or even in Saudi arabia.
But it also has a good side: less work, less hunger.
The local farmers (who were given small plots under land reform 30 years ago) now sell them to rich people to build summer houses. Why? Because they are poor? No. Because their sons work in Manila and would rather work 8 hour shifts in a sweaty factory, go home to a dirty slum and watch TV and eat chicken and rice instead of working in the hot sun bent over growing rice for 12 hours a day, and go home to a small dirty hut and....do nothing (make babies, sing, or collapse in exhaustion from overwork)..
Globalization means Starbucks and McDonalds-- but also Jolibee, the local franchise of fried chicken, which now has restaurants in California...
Standing has its advantages....

Europe is indeed envious of America for numerous reasons. Not listed in the article, but high on the list is America's absolute relevance. In the once dominant European countries and capitols, irrelevance is the bitterest pill to swallow. In spite of what ever their voices and media are spouting they are silently cursing their ancestors for not immigrating to America.
Has anyone told the EPA, OSHA, SSA, IRS et al?
