Not satisfied with the Muslim terrorist resistance in Fallujah, the LA Times is trying their hardest to inflame Muslims here in America, by publishing a huge front page, above-the-fold picture of Infidel soldiers defiling a Mosque on Arab soil.
Of all the pictures of all the action in Fallujah, THIS ONE is chosen by the LA Times as represent our efforts there. American Christian GI's kicking back smoking Marlboros in their mosque after killing the faithful freedom fighters within. I'm surprised they didn't Photoshop in a pic of them roasting a pig on a spit over a pile of buring Korans.

After the first shot is fired from a Mosque, it ceases to be a sacred place. It is now a military base, the same as a barracks, ammo depot or general HQ. As such, it may be occupied, destroyed or left along at the whim of the military force.
Bottom line; if you don't want your Mosques desecrated, don't use them to cache weapons, as fire bases or hideouts for your troops.
Just make sure you turn them after 30 minutes of cooking.
I don't suppose the LA Slimes mentioned that our troops had been under fire from numerous mosques throughout Fulluja, and they had to take them over or just submit to being fired on all the time from them? Did they mention that terrorists use their own mosques for that purpose, hoping that the kaffirs wouldn't dare touch them out of fear of offending Muslims? And lastly, did they ever show pictures of what the Church of the Nativity in Bethleham looked like after the Muslims finally left?

I agree that the LA Times is attempting to portray the military in a crass and careless light.
