I found only one other thread from July which even referenced Kerry's old band.
Jack Radcliffe, former piano player for the 60's band "The Electras", was interviewed this morning by WCOL's Woody, a popular DJ at a country music station in Columbus, OH. The interview was very intertaining. A few interesting points were brought up during the interview.
1. When Jack was asked if he'd be voting for Kerry, the answer was, "I'm kind of on the fence. I haven't made up my mind yet."
2. When Jack was asked about Kerry's bass playing ability, "Kerry wasn't a bass player, but he did play bass in the band." The indication there was that Kerry wasn't very good.
3. When asked whether Kerry inhaled Jack responded jokingly, "inhaled what?" He said he didn't know whether or not Kerry ever smoked dope.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: band; bass; electra; kerry
I found it interesting that this old high school buddy of John Kerry wasn't enthused about having John Kerry as a presidential candidate. He didn't bad-mouth Kerry, but he didn't give him any endorsements, either.

"Kerry wasn't a bass player, but he did play bass in the band." LOL!
Reminds me of Cheech and Chong on Santa Clause:
"Santa Claus is not a musician."
"No doubt, man. That cat can't play a thing!"

SO we learn that Kerrry 'embellished his resume' on this matter as well.
What a phony.

Is it too late to start a 527, Band Members for Truth, which would expose Kerry as a phony musician?

On the record label, Kerry claims he was from Norway. I guess he was ashamed of America then as he is now.

Maybe he was like Freddy "Boom Boom" Washington and pretended to play the bass.

Kerry wasn't a senator, but he did play senator in the presidential election! Same goes for Kerry's position on the Second Amendment!

I wonder if Kerry ever pretended to be an architect, what's higher than that?

I heard that Kerry only played with the Electras for three and a half months, and then after he left the band he went around saying that the Electras used to routinely cut off heads and maul groupies in a fashion reminiscent of Jenjis Kahn.

Probably so. I think he also pricked his finger a few times with a bass string and got a few purple boo boos as reminders.

He's still waiting for Kerry to swing a deal with the "Boss" so that he can tour and party in Kerry's Pink Cadillac.

Rumor has it he also met in Paris with members of Herman's Hermits: before he even quit the Electras.

"Kerry wasn't a bass player, but he did play bass in the band." The indication there was that Kerry wasn't very good. It is one thing to play the bass and another to be a bass player. Kerry might be a decently good musician and play the bass passably yet not be a bass player. Bass players recognize each other within seconds.
