One of the plaguing mysteries among aviators today is what happened to Amelia Earhart and her plane after she disappeared without a trace in 1937. Former Air Force Intelligence Officer Tony Romeo has been trying to crack the longtime mystery of Earnart’s plane whereabouts, and a recent sonar image snapped by Romeo reveals he may be close to cracking the longtime mystery. Romeo, the founder of the exploration company Deep Sea Vision, deployed a drone 16,500 under the ocean in Tarawa, Kiribati, in an attempt to find Earhart’s plane. The drone captured sonar images that were the same shape as...

A newly discovered photograph suggests legendary aviator Amelia Earhart, who vanished 80 years ago on a round-the-world flight, survived a crash-landing in the Marshall Islands. The photo, found in a long-forgotten file in the National Archives, shows a woman who resembles Earhart and a man who appears to be her navigator, Fred Noonan, on a dock. The discovery is featured in a new History channel special, "Amelia Earhart: The Lost Evidence," that airs Sunday. Independent analysts told History the photo appears legitimate and undoctored. Shawn Henry, former executive assistant director for the FBI and an NBC News analyst, has studied...
  • Roadside adventures with small-town cops in Electra, Texas

Here’s a YouTube that the Electra, Texas, convention and visitors bureau probably would like to see disappear from the firmament. It shows what can happen when cops with a bad attitude come up behind you at night and end up accusing you of the bad attitude. You can end up driving off with a couple of bogus tickets. Or, if you’re like the guy who produced the video, you can stand your ground and beat them at their own game. Ask yourself how you would handle something like this. You can imagine these two cops were the overgrown bully-boys who...
  • Two false charges in Electra, Texas. Prosecutor tries to add more at pretrial. And so much more.

I verbally objected to an unconstitutional search of my vehicle in Electra, Texas. Police officers Matt Wood and Gary Ellis maliciously responded by issuing me two false citations. I got a copy of the dashboard-camera video at the pretrial hearing. It showed all. City attorney Todd Greenwood demanded I give my copy of the evidence back, and tried to have me arrested when I refused. Todd Greenwood then compared rural Texas to the movie Deliverance, and warned me "What's written down in the Constitution is one thing, and the real practice is another." All charges dropped. Section 1983 anyone?

New evidence of CFLs causing fires -- even exploding -- as well as new environmental concerns have come to light since my article The CFL Fraud published.  Here are some of the additional fires:  "I had one of these CFL's in my garage socket, and it blew a component (not the glass corkscrew) and caught fire.  Fortunately, I was standing four feet away at the time.  I turned off the power and smothered the bulb with a towel." LINK "I heard a sizzling sound like bacon, looked in the direction of the sound and watch the CFL burst into flame...

US aircraft history buffs are hopeful that tiny bones along with artefacts from the 1930s found on a remote Pacific island may reveal the fate of pioneering aviator Amelia Earhart. In one of aviation's most enduring mysteries, Earhart took off from Lae, in what is now Papua New Guinea, while attempting to circumnavigate the globe via the equator in 1937 and was never seen again. A massive search at the time failed to find the flyer and her navigator Fred Noonan, who were assumed to have died after ditching their Lockheed Electra aircraft in the ocean, according to the Amelia...

Radio interview of Jack Radcliffe on WCOL ^ | 28 Oct 2004 | Keith Sparks
I found only one other thread from July which even referenced Kerry's old band. Jack Radcliffe, former piano player for the 60's band "The Electras", was interviewed this morning by WCOL's Woody, a popular DJ at a country music station in Columbus, OH. The interview was very intertaining. A few interesting points were brought up during the interview. 1. When Jack was asked if he'd be voting for Kerry, the answer was, "I'm kind of on the fence. I haven't made up my mind yet." 2. When Jack was asked about Kerry's bass playing ability, "Kerry wasn't a bass player,...
