I missed the beginning of the debate and am just now catching up. Anyone who suggests that the Vice-President did not completely dominate Sen. Edwards does not know how to score a debate. I'm literally cringing watching Sen. Edwards embarrass himself. He seldom addressed the questions directly, and he was almost completely unable to engage in the ongoing discussion. He just blindly repeated talking points that the Vice-President discredited only moments before. He lost on both substance and style and I sincerely feel sorry for him. If this were a presidential debate, the campaign would be over.

That teenager knows nothing about the world.

You nailed it.

This also shows a complete lack of judgement on Kerry's part for selecting him. Of course we knew that already.

>>>>Edwards should count his lucky stars that Cheney (not a lawyer) wasn't opposing him on all those big enriching cases that he (Edwards) won<<<<

Most of those cases were settled out of court.

If Edwards picked up that stupid mug of water one more time I was going scream. At one point I thought he was going to make love to it."

My daughter got a kick out of the fact that Edwards kept his eyes on Cheney even while drinking. It was very amusing.

No objective person could disagree with that assessment.

Not even Tim Russert and Ton Brokaw disagreed, and we know they're not objective!

Yes, Yes!!!! With that answer I'm sure you know what I'm saying. I was simply addressing the debate they claim they won.

I don't think a creative Liar is what this country needs as President. I'll stand by that statement.

Cheers!

Nobody even watches Dan Rather or CBS any more so I would really question there ability to do a poll.

I just thought he was trying to avoid the question. Like he did on a lot of them.

Does the Veep debate ever have much influence on the polls? I didn't think so, but tonight just might.

At least temporarily.

I'm glad he is the age he is, because she thinks he's kinda sexy, too. Any man is sexy when he is a man of substance and character.

"You DO realize The policies Cheney defended WERE the President's? Right? "

Or at least, the presidents after cheney may have had some input, something I (and any of us, for that matter) don't really know.

In any event, my previous comment was simply an observation, that I would rather cheney were electable in the media age of politics, both in 2000 (the post-clinton era, no 9/11) and now.

I don't know what it is exactly, maybe the half smile, maybe the wise and warm expression, but Vice President Cheney is totally HOT. Totally, intensely HOT.

"I would like to know what 600 votes for tax cuts John Kerry has made in his life time."

How in the world would it have been possible for JF'nK to vote for six hundred of anything yet alone sixty of anything? Has he even been in the Senate chamber that many times?!?

600 absences perhaps. 600 votes? Noooo way!

I'd like to know how many times Edwards said "We have a plan..."

Exactly! Me too......and what the heck is it? I think the American people will see through this charade they are trying to pull off. Cheney was incredible..............I hope President Bush took notes. Edwards personal attack on Cheney's daughter was the lowest of the low.......I'm glad Cheney took the high road. Didn't want his personal life brought into it. That pretty much showed Edwards character to me. Just like Kerry's.....anything to win......
