I wanted to give some background on the location of the VP debate for those not living in the area. Last year, at the business college, a student from India went on a rampage and killed several students and injured others. Turns out he'd been disgruntled about perceived harassment by another student regarding his website. The media, mayor, and college brass pretended that they had no idea who was doing this or why, but they were proved liars (thought not in the media).
This happened at the Weatherhead School of Business - a mulimillion dollar complex built through donations received by the school. The donor has major clout in this area, and cut off donations to the school because he didn't appreciate where it was going philisophically.
The major donor is Peter B. Lewis, big time donor (with George Soros) to the DNC, Moveon.org, and Media Fund. He is the founder and Chairman of Progressive Insurance (which employs hundreds of people at low wages). I thought this was useful information, as the Miami debates were held at the college ex-Clintonista Donna Shalala now runs.
If anything odd occurs from an audience standpoint, then you can surmise Lewis probably had a hand in it - he is motivated, like so many rich and powerful elite, to get a Communist in office.
Would appreciate other Ohioans contributing knowledge that they may have regarding Lewis. I believe he used his considerable clout to change the make-up of the board at CWRU, as well, but I am not sure how long ago that was.
Great info!
What was the shooter's website about?
How Indian folks can get to this country and how to use the Immigration system (I believe).
Case Western Reserve is one of the best educational institutions in the world, so both students were intelligent enough to get in. This was the story we were told by the media, and I guess the shooter complained bitterly to the college about how he was being treated.
Interesting how these locations have been chosen by the s-called neutral "Debates Commission". Like C-BS, conservatives should consider boycotting Progressive. Peter Lewis can keep his left leaning views and have just the left leaning customers.
Yeah, I'm starting to smell something here with the debate commission.
bump for the working folks.
Very interesting. Thanks MK.
