Did anybody notice that more Bush bashing came in when the president stepped in to assess the Hurricane Charley situation? I heard a number of prominant Democrats imply that his intentions were nothing more than politics; and yet if he ignored the situation, they'd be the first to say that "he didn't care"!? Something is not right here. It seems to me that bashing the president has gotten so out of hand that many who do so, do it without using common logic. It almost makes me wish Bush would win, just so that the bashers would whine some more. Just shows that the other side is never happy. They can't even take pride in their own "acheivements".

High school grad? Yes. College freshman, young, but I know somewhat what I am doing.
Years ago, we got a puppy whom I suggested naming "Hemorrhoid". The family was enthusiastic...until we considered the ramifications of standing out on the back porch if he took too long to take care of the necessariesries, hollaring "Hemorrhoid, HEMORRHOID!!" over and over. Talk about potentially embarrassing. We named him Hubby's choice, Conan, instead.
I'll put my name in the "advocate" column--for now, at least. There is a lot more to the "troll" thing than membership dates.
I had a German Shepard as a kid. My dog wasn't mean though. He still scared lots of people. I used to say Lucky would never ...be any good as a watch dog. I have changed my mind. One of the kids in my neighborhood is disturbed-really the kid is not right. He threatened my seven daughter with a metal basball bat in our yard (this kid is 14 years old)- I don't remember when a week or two ago maybe. I heard a ruckus and came out. I thought that dog was going to tear this kid to pieces. Lucky didn't bite the kid, but their was no way the kid was getting near my daughter. I gave the dog a big bone and called this kid's mother. I told her I'm calling the cops if I catch him in my yard. I also told her she should get help for this kid. She won't though-California valley girl dingbat type.

My dog's not mean to US...but I've seen her stand her guard MANY times not letting someone anywhere near Brad or myself.
I'd always wanted a Shepherd...my kids dogs are now gone and it was MY turn...guess what? I'll ALWAYS have one! My DREAM is to get a puppy NOW and have her pick up on my dog's good behavior. Mine has arthritis and is definitely slowing down.
I'm working on Gramps....he's not keen on it.
Yet. I shall use my womanly wiles.
