My heart sank when I read that. The majority of Canadians, both in the west AND in the east, would not support such behaviour. I feel terrible for the young girl who had to experience this and I hope that there is a response from the school board/community to this event. This is not acceptable.

Actually given the "diversity" of the school, my guess is they learned that from their parents.

I heard a decade ago that at the World Basketball Championships in Canada, the Canadian team was playing the Greeks. The majority of the fans at the game were pro Greek and BOOED THE CANADIAN TEAM EVEN THOUGH THOSE FANS WERE CANADIAN. Incredible.

This is a perfect example of what happens when multiculturalism is a priority of government.

Canada is a complete failure at 'joining' two cultures that never wanted to be together in the first place. There are two distinctly separate Canadas, French Canada and English Canada and the two despise each other.

My Canada excludes Quebec.

YOu forgot the third. The Liberal preservation called South Ontario. It despises the rest of Engish Canada no less than Quebec. By harvesting their votes there, Liberals are capable of running the whole of Canada, both English and French.

The funny thing is, we had two right wing parties that were splitting the vote. Had they been united in the last election, the conservatives would have beaten the Liberals. The real problem in southern Ontario is the immigrants tend to flock here. They are the Liberal voters. As for hating the rest of Canada, that simply is not true.
