I may be able to seek clarification on another news item. It is important to identify a method that may be used to allay fears of Sharia law (Well founded fears). Search should find Canada Preparing to Enforce Sharia Law . Posted Nov 27th 2003 from WND,by,and I hope I am not out of place, FR contributor, The Invisible Hand.

The import of the Canadian statement is that Sharia Law applies to Civil actions only. I am not quite clear whether this is a Canadian interpretation to suit their whistling in the dark and Sharia still could be used to physically mutilate human beings.

I myself, feel that regardless of pious pronouncements about civil matters only, it is the "foot in the door". For sure it is an erosion of the laws that should bind Canadians.

Be prepared for the statements that Sharia just deals with civil disputes only.

What idiots would want to marry into that? Only fools assume that inter-marriage will be the method that integrates immigrant populations. The Euros have no tradition or willingness to integrate anyone - their racism is extensive but covert.

This will come here, no doubt. Islamic radicals and their liberal friends, who already possess a disdain for religion (read Christianity), will say that "freedom of religion" means sharia must be allowed.

in 2001, right after the 9-11 attacks, Germany has changed the laws, allowing to ban religious organisations aiming to abolish our constitution. The Interior Minister did this in early 2002, Milli Görus is illegal right now. The Supreme Court has upheld that in a decision.
