Tell The Senate Ethics Committee To Investigate “Memo-Gate” (Senate Intel Com Memo)

As expected, most of the media is blacking out the story on the leaked Democrat memo detailing a Democrat plot to use congressional investigations into Iraq war planning for political gain against President Bush. This cannot stand.

Please use the contact information below to DEMAND an ethics investigation into this memo which recommends “that Democrats ‘prepare to launch an investigation when it becomes clear we have exhausted the opportunity to usefully collaborate with the majority. We can pull the trigger on an independent investigation of the administration's use of intelligence at any time – but we can only do so once ... the best time would probably be next year.’”

In a statement, Roberts said that the memo "appears to be a road map for how the Democrats intend to politicize what should be a bipartisan, objective review of prewar intelligence."

Also, please send an email to oreilly@foxnews.com and plea with him to not let the liberal media give the Dems a pass on this one after they skewered Rumsfeld and Novak over similar “leaks”. This must not stand.

Fox News is covering this RIGHT NOW, and apparantly, Republican Senators are on the floor as we speak speaking out about this thing. The story is starting to get out there!

The Dems are apparently convinced that nothing they do politically will incur treason charges.

It's high time to demonstrate otherwise.

I caught just a brief discussion of this last night (after Election Day) with Bill Bennett and Hannity & Colmes. Sounds like I missed a doozy!

okay, I am feeling like a total idiot here, but I don't get why this is such a big deal..I mean, every media outlet has been expressing concern over the veracity of the prewar intelligence for the last few weeks...so did anyone actually think the Dems were not going to use this concern in the next election campaign? What am I missing?

It's hard evidence that someone on the supposedly **impartial fact finding comittee** is in advance planning to "get Bush." Not evaluating the failure and planning to put measures in place that will safeguard America in the future to prevent intelligence failure, but planning to make all evidence fall in the right way to try and hurt the political chances of the GOP and the President.

I wish that we had a Republican leadership with the guts to do as you suggest. I wish that I felt that a letter to these guys would do one bit of good. What I do see is that there is a total lack of leadership on the Republican side. Frist and the boys could be doing a hell of a lot more to advance Bush's judicial nominees, and instead they roll over on their back like my cocker spaniel puppy and hope the democraps will rub their tummys. Sure they've got RINOs to contend with, but they have hammers they can use on those clowns too. I'm sorry, but I believe that once this initial storm dies down, life in the spinelessly led senate will go on as usual--go along to get along.

Well, I'm glad Fox News is covering it, since (Shazamm!) my two leading statewide newspapers (Minnesota) didn't seem to find room for the article this morning.

I'm shocked...SHOCKED, I tell you.

The local station that airs Boortz just covered this story on a news break, calling it a "scandal in the making'. This is a station that leans heavily left in the newsroom and is owned by Cox. I never watch their CBS affiliate tv news, since I have long suspected they take their marching orders from the local DNC. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard them cover it.

This leak is definitely a trigger lock for the intellectually challenged One-Bullet Barney.

okay, I understand the deceit involved, but I'm sorry...it's just the same old thing to me..I would LOVE to believe that Americans would embrace this as a "Watergatian" scandal..but frankly, I don't think so...it's just politics as usual..
