Trump Support Underrated in Surveys, says Ex-Clinton Pollster
Newsmax ^ | October 12, 2017 | James Morrison

A top Democrat pollster warned Thursday that surveys showing President Donald Trump with low approval ratings make the same mistakes as those last year that predicted a massive victory for Hillary Clinton.

"The polls that failed to detect the full strength of President Trump on Election Day continue to underestimate the president's support for the job he is doing, paying way too much attention to the Twitter wars and ignoring the public support for many of the actions he is undertaking," wrote Mark Penn, a pollster for former President Bill Clinton and chief strategist for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

"Polls show the president's approval rating all over the lot. An Associated Press poll put it at 32 percent and suggests that only 24 percent see the country as going in the right direction. This strains credulity given what happened in the special elections against the Democrats," he added, referring to recent congressional contests won by Republicans....

Doesn’t he know he’s supposed to pump the fake polls?

Bill Clinton sexual assault is a gift to be a tax write off to Clintons since Bill did not get paid, :)

And in other news, water is still wet and Hillary is still bitching about her loss.

There was a poll on Judge Moore with him leading by only 8 points. I think that poll could be off as well.

Dems, ignore Mark Penn. He simply doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You need to go full-blown hate-America in your upcoming campaigns. Everybody in the country hates the USA and despises the buffoon Trump who is taking us into WW III, killing the best health care system in the world and ramping up output of that poisonous gas CO2. Never forget, he manipulated RUSSIA into stealing what was rightfully Hillary’s.

If I were you, I’d send your best candidates like Maxine, Hank, and Dick out to the 50 yard lines at all games this Sunday to burn American flags and raise some good old fashioned Black Panther fists in the air in protest. The people will LOVE YOU for it! Guaran-damn-teed!

Follow my simple recipe and you’ll be shoe-ins all over this rotten land for decades to come.

The polls were skewed because the plan was for a bunch of people to vote for Hillary at the last minute so as not to “waste their vote”. I’ve heard people on here talking about people wasting their votes. This time people were going to vote for Trump no matter what. And guess what. The only people who wasted their votes were those who voted for Hillary.

Many conservatives refuse to answer the phone if they don’t know the number. Liberals are more apt to answer it - they relish the chance to push their ignorance on others. And many conservatives will not do an online poll when the poll requires a valid email - we consider that an imposition on privacy. My opinion is expressed at the ballot box and with my wallet and feet.

Remind your liberal and left leaning friends (I live in a liberal town in a deep blue state) that Trump is averaging 50% approval in the 16 crucial states he needs for re-election. Nov 2020 is a long way off, but it will be here soon enough.

Trump will be our president until noon on Jan 20, 2025, God willing. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, left wingers.

We have known for some years that it is no longer even possible to poll a representative sample.

Donald Trump is now above water (net positive approval) on the economy. However he’s leveled off at a pretty bad number overall. I suspect the difference is personality. Trump isn’t a politician which is why he connects so well with his supporters and leaves others - who like the impact he’s having on the direction of the country - uncomfortable with him.

As for the Republican Senators who put their personal vendetta with Trump ahead of the interests of the country, that’s why so many of them are going to be challenged in the primaries next year. McCain doesn’t have a primary, but he’s the reason Jeff Flake is in trouble.

My fearless prediction: Kim Guadangno, who “has no chance” in the New Jersey Governor’s race, will beat Phil Murphy in November.

This is going to shock a lot of people, who have been believing the polls.

Wasn't Penn on the "outs" with the inside clique of Hillary advisors after his cautions early in her campaign?

After having finished a quite even-handed article written by an archbishop about Luther, then reading this piece from Mark Penn I am quite cheered about the way of civil dialogue.
