Absolutely correct. The Rats used the “cloud of an ongoing investigation on the President” as an excuse to try to block everything including Gorsuch when they knew it was BS and so did his “own” party. Maybe this is why that weasel McConnell got the Nuclear option through. Knowing there was no investigation it is discusting how little the GOP has done to defend Trump. If 1/10 was of this crap had been done to Obongo these would be not stop parade of Rats getting in front of cameras to put a stop to it.

It concerned how the Obama admin sabotaged the US intel agencies in regard to Iran.
Unless he’s referring to an unauthorized bug. He said “better hope there’s a tape,” and maybe there’s a tape. He didn’t say there was a tape.
The only way then the Dems could prove Comey’s version was true would be to reveal they bugged Trump.

You are absolutely right. No attorney would ever allow him to do that. He has a hostile IC (Mueller)breathing down his neck, an open friend of Comey. And everyone knows the truth can be twisted. It is no win for Trump to box himself in. It is also demeaning to the Presidency. Bush allowed FBI interviews in the White House. Trump should not do anything except STHU!

Just shut down all questions, all interviews concerning the Russia fishing trip and Comey. Tell them in his view the Russia probe ended with Comey’s Congressional testimony and his lawyers will handle everything else, but he will cooperate with Mueller. - no questions from anyone else. Tell them he has work to do and get on with it.

This is a big mistake. Trump thinks that these “investigations” are objective. Think they are? No. People innocently remember things differently everyday. Not here - one fact that others remember differently is perjury. The “investigators” are hunting for Trump, and now they have their chance for a gotcha moment.
I would never let my client testify in this manner.
