Pete Coors and Mike Shanahan, a pair of giants in Colorado beer and football, are two of several boldfaced names planning a Friday fundraiser for Donald Trump to coincide with the Republican candidate’s visit to the state that day for the Western Conservative Summit.
While the names on the host committee may suggest a Sunday-tailgate kind of affair — Coors is a longtime beer executive and Shanahan used to coach the Denver Broncos — the entry fee to the presidential fundraiser is decidedly more expensive than what one would find in the parking lot of Mile High stadium.
It’s at least $10,000 per couple to attend the lunch hobnob at Shanahan’s Denver home; a cool $50,000 will get couples a photo and VIP meeting with Trump, according to the invitation.
Longtime Colorado kingmaker and political donor Larry Mizel also is listed as a co-chair.
Trump’s visit to the state comes at a critical for his campaign.
He’ll have to shore up support in Colorado after losing badly in the primary to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and feuding afterward with state GOP politicos such as U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner. The Western Conservative Summit, a major powwow of local and national leaders on the right, could help him mend some fences.
And he’ll probably need whatever money he can get from the Shanahan event. According to the most recent fundraising reports, Trump had just $1.3 million cash on hand, far less than the $42.5 million war chest compiled by Hillary Clinton, his Democratic rival.
The imbeciles are going to keep pounding that “$1.3 Million...” until Trump releases the June number$ (his first full month of asking for public donations). It will stagger even the imbeciles.
Meanwhile, Clinton-Non-News has another shill on right now, trying to build a false narrative regarding Hillary’s and Barry’s crimes vis a vis Benghazi.

This is a GREAT sponsor for TRUMP, among the few voting male patriots left in Colorado, and the women patriots who appreciate them.
Otherwise, the Republican Party there seemed to be of the more effeminate Cruzer types, willing to play tricks with votes, to cheat out TRUMP support.

More outright stupidity or willful omission from the writer of this article. There was no Colorado primary, nor even a caucus....this was the infamous rigged delegate contest that Cruz and pals stacked with the help of the corrupt GOP.
should add medical marijuana too. gives a whole new meaning to the Rocky Mountain High. i have several neighbors here in MI who do the medical marijuana - they are traveling to colorado three times a year to sell their medical marijuana. they have come back and purchased an additional home, and have the medical marijuana house and a larger home with acreage in the country.
