Why did a Ted Cruz superPAC give $500k to Carly Fiorina? (from Aug. 2015)
MSNBC ^ | 8-4-15 | Rachael Maddow

Posted on 03/26/2016 11:54:50 AM PDT by bigbob

Rachel Maddow shows the paperwork that indicates Keep The Promise, a Ted Cruz-aligned superPAC, donated $500,000 to Carly For America, a Carly Fiorina-aligned superPAC, but what remains unclear is why.

2 minute video. Please don't bother telling me this is MSNBC or Rachael Maddow is a guy - we already know that.

I am posting this because this question was raised back in August and never answered, then forgotten as the campaign moved on. Carly Fiorina dropped out in Feb. and later endorsed Cruz on March 9. The rumors of a Cruz sex scandal began circulating a few days after that...March 11. Coincidence? Probably...

But the question remains, why was a half-million raised to support Cruz handed over to Fiorina's campaign? Do you buy the explanation they gave Maddow?

I wonder if the money is going to be far more important than the sex.

And where does this leave Snarly Carly?

Even a 10% “finders facilitating fee” would be nice

This is the biggest question I have with Cruz. I want a commander in chief who is beholden to no one.

It is very curious indeed. Besides trying to tamp down bimbo eruptions, what would be the motive? To try and keep Carly in the race as a foil to Trump? Was Carly promised VP early on? Did Cruz want to keep a woman in the race? Was Carly having trouble raising money and one of Cruz’s donors wanted to make a donation through Cruz to hide the source?

What is the logical answer here? Anyone have an idea?

First of all, I don't believe anything that the queer lesbian Rachel Maddow's says. Secondly, Cruz did diddle all those nasties. Cruz must withdraw from the race. Period!

I always figured opposition research showed Fiorina was hurting another candidate Cruz wanted hurt.

Exactly! One has to wonder if Cruz used money to pay the nasties from his PAC money? Or from his bank loan money intended for campaign purposes only? Or money from Cruzs' wallet?

Some of the cruz donors were impressed with carly, so the cruz PAC gave her PAC $500k.

Craziest reason ever. Cruz is unbelievable in his lies and what is concerning is that so far the country is believing them all. Our country is screwed if they continue to believe Cruz’s lies. No other candidate has gotten away with things then Ted. The news agencies love Ted. They want him president so much. With Trump, the media is a constant bash session and Ted Cruz does nothing but trash trump. Cruz must have something on many people for them to be so supportive. And getting away with screwing his wife numerous times is gross. Pray for America.

Did Radical Madcow ever do a follow-up on that question, because this was way back in August of last year? It would be interesting to see if she found out anything else.
