Ted Cruz knows what he's doing. This is not good news for GOP insiders who believe the party must nominate a mainstream Republican if it has any hope of taking back the White House next November.
Donald Trump and Ben Carson have been leading the GOP presidential primary polls for months. Pundits have been expecting the two anti-Establishment candidates' bubbles to pop, believing that conservative voters will begin taking the race seriously as the New Year -- and the Iowa Caucus -- looms.
Cruz, the junior senator from Texas, understands that Trump and Carson supporters have been taking the race seriously all along -- and that most of them don't really expect the blowhard real-estate mogul or the calm but policy-challenged neurosurgeon to win the nomination. Those supporters like what they're hearing from Trump and Carson. What they want are the more so-called "electable" candidates to get on board....

Cruz and Trump should team up...
OK I’ll bite.
Trump is for bringing back American jobs, to America.
Is Cruz?
A fact could hit you in the face and you would not notice. Sorry.
Let's see...
Dole - mainstream
McCain - mainstream
Romney - mainstream
At what point do we return to Republicans winning landslide victories without turning to a mainstream candidate?
Trump is for bringing back American jobs, to America.
Is Cruz?
Trump hasn’t done anything but flap his tiny lip furiously to whip up low info’s like Jim Jones stirring up 500 gallons of purple Koolaid.
Trump is the only candidate in our entire party, who is making a single noise about jobs.
He’s it.
Well at least in the main debate. I think Santorum is also for American jobs.
“Trump is for bringing back American jobs, to America.”
*****
Really? Which jobs has he brought back? The ones making his ties? Nope.
Take your blinders off and open your ears.
Cruz, Sessions Introduce the American Jobs First Act of 2015.

Only 1 example, there are a lot more
I will admit that is a start.
It was just about a week ago, but it’s a start.
We’ll see.
Cruz has and has put his American Energy Renaissance Act bill to take on the min wage issue and domestic energy production to increase American jobs.

Consider yourself educated now.
Cruz only recently (last week in fact) proposed the change.
It was the first pro-American-jobs thing I have heard from him.
Trump has been on the subject for as long as he’s been in the race. Big time.
We shall see, if this is a new thing for Cruz.
Its hard to be educated when the bill was just introduced 4 days ago with no fanfare.
LOL
Trump is a fan of outsourcing jobs, many in terrorist funding Muslim middle east countries.

Baloney.
Trump is more pro-American jobs than any candidate I have heard from in at least an entire generation.
Big time. Trump is completely for re-industrializing America.
Is that why Mexican illegals were used to build some of Trump’s hotels? Is that the Trump Mexican job creation program?
Trump has employed a large, large number of people.
A very large amount.
He is the single wealthiest person to ever run for the presidency.
By far. That said, he is (completely) pro-American jobs.
Big time.
That is why I support him. He has been for American jobs since he started running.
It is one of his biggest issues.
By lowering taxes, overbearing regulations, reign in the out of control E.P.A. then yes, Ted Cruz is for jobs.
Make America competitive again in the world markets on a level playing field.
Can’t make America Great again with overbearing taxes, overbearing regulations, out of control E.P.A..
