Trump tweets prediction Paul will drop out - Paul: I'll outlast 'clown' Trump

Just a day after Rand Paul said he'd outlast "clown" Donald Trump, the real estate mogul is firing back, using his favorite way to attack his fellow GOP candidates: Twitter.

Trump tweeted Tuesday morning, "Prediction: Rand Paul has been driven out of the race by my statements about him-- he will announce soon. 1%!"

He tweeted again, "I hope when Rand Paul gets out of the race---he is at 1%--his supporters come over to me. I will do a much better job for them."

Paul told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday that it's "silly season anytime Donald Trump opens his mouth" after asked about Trump's Twitter attacks.

"He's not a real conservative," Paul added. "No real conservative would have supported a single payer system for medical or health care, no real conservative would support raising taxes, and no real conservative would have supported President Obama's government stimulus plan."(continued)

Paul will do what his father tended to do.

Never really drop out but instead “deactivate” or suspend active campaigning. That way he can be sure to keep a few thousand idiots per state still voting for him.

Paul is nothing but a nasty, name-calling GOPe RINO bitch. He’s now likely to lose his senate seat, too.

And thats the correct way to deal with liberal frauds. Mock them to the point they implode as an example to others.

I agree that this endorsement really hurt Paul. He was in a tough spot but I recall McConnell did not support him. If he was playing presidential politics with the endorsement, he should have lined up who and how much money was coming his way!

I attended a Trauma conference last week.

Two things I learned:

1) Bleeding always stops.

2) You can’t fix crazy.

Rand, sadly, falls into #2 territory...

Paul saying Trump is no conservative is irony at it’s best as Paul is not conservative either.

Trump might not be , but Paul certainly is not. He is a liberaltarian who thinks he should tell conservatives how we should change.

its not clear that Trump support single payer as is understood by the Left. Trump could simply be pushing a health saving account and call it universal health care. Devil is in the details.

Rand Paul Super Pac Goes Dark

One of the three super PACs supporting Rand Paul’s presidential campaign has stopped raising money, dealing a damaging blow to an already cash-starved campaign.
In a Tuesday telephone interview, Ed Crane, who oversees the group, PurplePAC, accused Paul of abandoning his libertarian views -- and suggested it was a primary reason the Kentucky senator had plummeted in the polls.
. “I have stopped raising money for him until I see the campaign correct its problems,” said Crane, who co-founded the Cato Institute think tank and serves as its president emeritus. “I wasn’t going to raise money to spend on a futile crusade.”

“I don’t see the point in it right now,” he added.

I not sure what Rand mean by Trump support for increasing taxes. Trump’s tax plan is actually quite Conservative. Its not ideal but its an improvement of current tax plan and I’m fine with that
