2016 Presidential Polls: Donald Trump Pulling Away As 30,000 Attend Republican Rally In Alabama

Everyone thought that Donald Trump was way in over his head when he decided to throw his hat in the ring for 2016 presidential election. Now, there are not nearly as many people who think the same way, and that was evident when 30,000 people turned out for a Republican pep rally in Alabama on Friday. Now, he’s beginning to pull away from the rest of the field and very well could widen his lead in the 2016 presidential polls.

Topped off in a red hat, Donald Trump stepped out before 30,000 supporters in Alabama on Friday night, and it was quite a sight to see. CNN reported that he spoke for over an hour, and a lot of it was speaking against the political correctness that so many couldn’t stand.

“We’ve gotten an amazing reception. Has this been crazy? Man!”

Originally, the event was set to be held in a Civic Center nearby in Mobile, but different accommodations had to be made. Before Donald Trump arrived, it was moved to the 43,000-seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium so that the entire crowd would have room.

Halfway through his pep rally, it was revealed that Donald Trump is indeed pulling away from the other candidates in the GOP. Business Insider reported that his lead over his closest rivals is widening, and now it’s starting to get a bit out of hand.

His brashness and his brutal honest and even his sometimes “mean nature” is not turning off anyone. Supporters are not going away, but they are only gaining more and more as time goes on and other candidates don’t show as much promise and tenacity.

About a week ago, online surveys in the 2016 presidential polls showed that Donald Trump had 24 percent support. Now, close to 32 percent of all Republicans surveyed have given their support to the businessman.

His closest competitor is still former Florida governor Jeb Bush, but he has a mere 16 percent. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is in third with eight percent.

When another poll gave Republican voters the choices of only Trump, Bush, and Carson, the businessman ended up taking 44 percent of the support. Bush took close to 29 percent and Carson ended up with 25 percent.

Donald Trump is leading all Republican candidates in the 2016 presidential polls, and his support is only growing. At this rate, he could easily represent the party against whomever the Democratic nominee ends up being, and right now, that’s a race between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

I'd love to see Trump debate Hillary or Biden or Michelle.

I'm very sure he'd wipe the floor with Elizabeth Warren as well, but at least she might not totally embarrass herself. The first three? I think any of them might start crying on stage, or physically attack him from sheer rage.

How difficult is it to estimate a % fill on a stadium when video is available?

For years the Democrats have been jerks. They say whatever they want and get away with it while the Republicans cringe and shiver with fear. They never fight back.

Trump does not turn his cheek, he punches right back in the face.

The primary reason for his popularity is simple. He takes no prisoners and fights back like a devil dog.

Gee, according to the Einsteins over at National Review (yeah, I know), the crowd was only 18,000 and a quarter of them left early.

Typical TDS.

Trump/Cruz 2016

Gee, according to the Einsteins over at National Review (yeah, I know), the crowd was only 18,000 and a quarter of them left early.

They rave about Bernie getting 8000 in Marxist heaven Madison WI, but when Trump gets 35,000 RSVPs and quickly upgrades from the 11,400 seat Civic Center to the nearby 33,471 seat Ladd-Peebles stadium (on a few days notice), they present it as "half-full" and "only 18,000" (when 23,000 or higher is much more likely to be accurate). Had he not switched to the larger venue, 6,000-12,000 people would have been shut out (after canceling their weekend plans to come see him speak).

Trump is drawing 2-3 times as much as the best crowds for any other candidate, and changing venues at the last moment (how many 18,000-23,000 seat venues are there in Mobile, AL?) and they present it as an insult. Dirtbags.

(Go Cruz)

I'd like to see Trump debate Cruz, one-on-one, with an interesting moderator.

THAT would be pretty awesome. Cruz wouldn't fall for, or present, a personal attack, Trump would lay into Obama and Hillary with his usual flair, and Cruz would make his exceptional arguments.

Let the RNC block Trump from the debates. Let Trump make his own debate, invite Cruz only, and have Camille Paglia moderate. Ratings would top the 10-man folly on Fox, and the other 15 candidates can flounder together with 1/20 the ratings.

Breitbart provides the story of how the location for Trump's Mobile, Alabama event was moved not once but twice, in response to the unexpected number of ticket requests:

Earlier this week, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s campaign announced he would be holding a campaign event in Mobile, AL in the theater the city’s civic center, a venue that holds less than 2,000 people. However, as ticket requests increased, the venue was changed to another room at the same venue, the arena, which holds 10,000 people.

However, late Wednesday, that venue was determined to be insufficient and it was moved to the city’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000 and hosts University of South Alabama football games, the Senior Bowl and the GoDaddy.com bowl.

The New York Times article about the same event does not mention the venue changes forced by high ticket requests. As usual, the NYT chose to protect its fragile readers from politically incorrect news by omitting it. Here is the article's title: "Donald Trump Fails to Fill Alabama Stadium, but Fans’ Zeal Is Undiminished"

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/22/us/donald-trump-fails-to-fill-alabama-stadium-but-fans-zeal-is-undiminished.html?_r=0

So, you see, there were no venue changes. The stadium was Trump's first and only choice. Arrogant Trump was supremely confident that he could fill that stadium, but he failed miserably! What an embarrassment for Trump!

And they wonder why we hate the MSM.

No need, it was a turnstiled venue.

ABC News — 30,000
CNN — 30,000
USA Today — 30,000
City of Mobile Alabama — 30,000

And that’s just the ones I know of.

.

Trump towers.

What would be fun, is if during one of the later debates, if the moderators try to get a one-on-one going between Trump and Cruz, that they both start agreeing with one another, doing a tag team, and use the opportunity to announce, “Ladies and gentlemen, as you can see, we both agree on 98% of the issues and how to go about fixing them, so I am proud to announce that Mr. XXXXX here and I are going to be running mates for this election”, as they shake hands, holding them up high in the air.

Talk about the press and everybody going nuts!
