Donald Trump holding his own in a new Fox News poll, establishment candidates Jeb Bush, Scott Walker and Marco Rubio all are losing traction.
Senator Rand Pauls (R-KY) campaign has collapsed, allies indicted for fraud.
Mr. Trump is continuing to dominate with 25% support nationally while Dr. Ben Carson, is running 2nd at 12%. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is 3rd at 10%. Those findings mirror recent polls in Iowa and elsewhere.
Jeb Bush has place 9% for a 4th place finish, dropping from 15% and 2nd place in a Fox News poll conducted earlier this month, before the first GOP presidential debate.
Scott Walker, the Wisconsin governor, is tied for 5th, at 6% down from 9% earlier this month.
In the new Fox News poll, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is tied with Walker for 5th at 6%. Theyre followed by former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina at 5%, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio at 4%, and then New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who both are at 3%.
The poll was conducted on 11-13 August. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Senator Rand Pauls campaign is struggling to keep up with his rivals in fundraising, and 2 of his political allies running an outside super PAC supporting his candidacy were recently indicted on campaign-finance fraud charges. Significant plunges in polling correspond.
In a powerful statement responding to Sen. Paul, Mr. Trump took him to task for running for reelection to the Senate at the same time hes campaigning for President.
I feel sorry for the great people of Kentucky who are being used as a back up to Senator Pauls hopeless attempt to become President of the United States, weak on the military, Israel, the Vets and many other issues. Senator Paul has no chance of winning the nomination and the people of Kentucky should not allow him the privilege of remaining their Senator, Donald Trump said.
Mr. Trump further called Pauls operation a total mess and said the Senator should leave the race.
Rand should save his lobbyists and special interest money and just go quietly home, he declared. Rands campaign is a total mess, and as a matter of fact, I didnt know he had anybody left in his campaign to make commercials who are not currently under indictment!
Trumpeting for Trump.
Have a terrific week.

All of Raul Paul’s pothead supporters will buy an extra ounce to ease
their pain tonight.
Just occurred to me: Paul turned to Saul on us.
Took a wrong turn on the road from Damascus...
So much for the meme that we need to elect a governor in 2016.
But, but, but Sabado said the real leaders are Bush, Rubio and Kasich. How can this poll be so wrong?
Pray America is waking
It looks like Rand may be out of the next debate if he cannot beat Christie.
There is an old Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”
Can’t say things are not interesting. Dreadful, yes, but interesting. Like being in the middle of a Force 5 hurricane.
Stay focused on remaining alive. We will start the salvage and rescue later, after the second wall of the hurricane has passed.
Rand Paul is background noise at this point. Trump is probably more focused on Jebby for now.
bRand apPauled is what I call him. Rand should stay in the Senate and fight the battles there with the GOPe. He’s not presidential material. Then again, not too many are so no biggie for him. Go fight sMudge Turtle and his henchman elites in the country club senate. Go do battle there Rand where we need you.
Looks like he's having more than just a bad night!
thank God for Donald trump. He’s taking out all the RINO candidates and elevating Cruz et al....fantastic!
Notice how the ‘losers’ all want lots and lots of Mehhicccans in-free??
Yeah, sometimes people leave the Republican Establishment religion. Its a beautiful thing.
lets see now.....he crucified Carly....doing the same to Rand...I’d say he’s right on schedule for his marching orders from Hitlery.
Idiotic. So Senator Paul should resign?
Trump seems clueless about 80% of the time, as if good poll numbers 14 months before the election count for anything.
I heard that Christie may drop out due to financial shortfalls ...
Did you even read what he said? He's talking about running for president and reelection for senate at the same time. How do you twist that into saying he should resign? And you call Trump idiotic?
This poll, coming from their own organization, has got to be causing Me-gyn and Chrissy Wallace some heartburn.
I would be ecstatic with any of these three as the nominee.
¿Jeb? Bush, the hand-picked choice of the GOPe doesn't even make the top 3 in this poll!
It's been a while since I felt this optimistic with regard to a presidential race.
