Obama seems to have early voter lead in key states

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama heads toward Election Day with an apparent lead over Republican Mitt Romney among early voters in key states that could decide the election. Obama's advantage, however, isn't as big as the one he had over John McCain four years ago, giving Romney's campaign hope that the former Massachusetts governor can erase the gap when people vote on Tuesday. About 25 million people already have voted in 34 states and the District of Columbia. No votes will be counted until Election Day but several battleground states are releasing the party affiliation of people who have voted early. So far, Democratic voters outnumber Republicans in Florida, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio — five states that could decide the election, if they voted the same way. Republicans have the edge in Colorado, which Obama won in 2008. Obama dominated early voting in 2008, building up such big leads in Colorado, Florida, Iowa and North Carolina that he won each state despite losing the Election Day vote, according to voting data compiled by The Associated Press. "In 2008, the McCain campaign didn't have any mobilization in place to really do early voting," said Michael McDonald, an early voting expert at George Mason University who tallies voting statistics for the United States Elections Project. "This time around the Romney campaign is not making the same mistake as the McCain campaign did."

The point is:

The “Early Voter” numbers THIS YEAR are much LOWER than 4 years ago!

Also? Many of the Dem Early Voters are drawing down the Dem Election Day vote totals.

Exactly. Early vote numbers are way down. Obama will not have the early numbers he needs to withstand the election day wave. I’m glad you pointed this out before all the bed wetters get here.

Instead of PROTECTING their rights,
overseas military votes are being methodically destroyed
by the Obama and Holder.

There is absolutely NO SHAME in this corrupt regime.\

I was in line this morning early voting in Florida to send Obama and Michelle to their new Hawaiian home come Jan 21 st

Ii was talking to two democrat women who were both voting for Romney because “ economic issues “ are not nearly as important as social issues...

In other words putting food on their table, paying their bills, keeping their job are more important than their lady parts ....And free birth control...

Dems have tried to get their hard core to the polls early, sort of like eating seed corn. The better approach is to get the marginals (the ones who can’t deal with three-hour lines or walk over glass to vote) to the polls early.

Thank you. That is what I was about to post.

It "seems" he has the early vote--but if you look at it another way--maybe not...

We voted on Tuesday for R&R and straight Reps.

Went then to avoid longer lines later in week or on election day due to the
2 page ballot w amendments that many don’t realize we Florida voters are
facing this year.

Thanks for doing your part, and the good news on 2 added Romney votes.

My two bits says more democrats will vote for Romney than republicans will vote for Obama. AP is a propaganda wing for the RATS and they just follow orders from the BAM thug crew.

The only thing I used Yahoo for is their finance page. SInce realizing their far left agenda, I’ve found a substitute stock page (there’s no shortage).
