Rand Paul: ‘I think the election is over. I think that Romney has already won’

On Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Wednesday, Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said that as far as he was concerned, Mitt Romney was already the victor over incumbent Democratic President Barack Obama.

“You know, I think — I’m in the minority here, but I think the election is over,” said Paul, who was on to promote his new book “Government Bullies: How Everyday Americans Are Being Harassed, Abused, and Imprisoned by the Feds.”

“I think that Romney has already won,” Paul continued. “The people really are tired of the debt. They’re tired of irresponsible leadership. I think they’re tired of having 23 million people out of work. So, I think you’ll find — and this is my prediction, and of course, I could be wrong. I am fallible.”

Paul went on to tell Hewitt, who has his own recently released book, “The Brief Against Obama: The Rise, Fall & Epic Fail of the Hope & Change Presidency,” that things are lining up much like they did in the 1980 election for Ronald Reagan on the economic front, which will work in Romney’s favor.

“But you remember when Reagan just pulled away from Carter at the end?” Paul continued. “I think that’s what we’re going to see is people coalesce and find that the country’s just not headed in the right direction with all this unemployment and economic stagnation and that they want somebody who’s been in business, somebody who’s run successful businesses and created jobs. I think that’s the way it’s going to break down, simply on that issue, is which way do we take the country — with someone who likes American business, or someone who can’t wait to sort of punish, regulate and tax American business.”

I think Mitt is going to win bigger than most people think.

Mondale made a laugh line out of asking rhetorically if his audience could imagine waking up the day after the election to a President Ronald Reagan, but the laugh was on him. A lot of people could imagine that, they just weren’t telling the pollsters.

As the old story goes, if their lips are moving, they are lying. I don’t believe ANY of them, from either party. I will not stake or risk my life on anything one of them mutters. I do not TRUST ANYONE inside that beltway. NONE! I have faith in my God and in my family. That is it. Cause when it comes down to push or shove, people will normally go with their own. So, in the end, what human could you trust? Not very many in my humble opinion. I trust Christ. I know He will deliver. But, I NEVER trust any politicians.

Of course, Romney will win. Al the polls except Rasmussen are delusional.

Absolutely!!

Today, Rove had his white board which showed the new CBS poll had added 13% more dems .. and when Rove explained why that wouldn’t work in THIS election, it was obvious the dems are up to their old tricks.

Remember in 2004, the oversampling of dems got as high as 16-18% in their polls and then the dems couldn’t believe they didn’t win the election.

REMEMBER TOO: All this false polling is just to DEPRESS OUR VOTE - and make us think it’s over and Romney can’t win. We must encourage our family and friends not to fall for this stunt. It was the same when Reagan won .. they showed Reagan with 39% and Carter with 47% (I think), and then Reagan won by a landslide.

Also .. this constant lying by the WH over the last few days regarding what really happened at the Libian Consulate will show in the polls very soon.
