White House complained to DOJ for including Biden's memory issues in scathing special counsel report BEFORE it was released, it's revealed as Robert Hur's blockbuster testimony is confirmed for March 12

The White House sent an angry letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland a day before the Special Counsel report on President Joe Biden's mishandling of classified information was released.

White House Counsel Ed Siskel complained in a letter on February 7 that Special Counsel Robert Hur's report included 'multiple denigrating statements' about Biden's memory. Details of the White House letters between Justice Department officials were first published by Politico.

'A global and pejorative judgment on the President's powers of recollection in general is uncalled for and unfounded,' the letter read.

The latest development in the special counsel saga as Congress confirmed Hur will testify on Capitol Hill on March 12 in a blockbuster experience that could spell more trouble for Biden.

Siskel said Hur 'openly, obviously, and blatantly' violated Department policy and practices by commenting on Biden's memory and demeanor during the interview.

The letter also noted that Biden's five-hour interview with the Special Counsel took place after the 'grave international crisis' of the October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel, which he argued was 'crucial context' for Biden's hesitant answers.

The letters reveal the White House effort to influence the report before it's release, as they viewed it as politically damaging for the president.

The Justice Department defended Hur, as Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer told the president's lawyers in a letter that the report was 'consistent with legal requirements and Department policy.'

The White House pushed back sharply against the Justice Department after the report was released, which culminated in the president himself angrily condemning Hur for reporting that Biden 'did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died.'

'How the hell dare he raise that,' Biden yelled during a press conference on Tuesday.

“’A global and pejorative judgment on the President’s powers of recollection in general is uncalled for and unfounded,’ the letter read.”

Funny, the entirety of the media and the Dem party did that through Trump’s term in office.

Definitely makes you wonder how far Biden has declined. Is he forgetting who his family members are?

My MIL recently passed and had dementia. Liver cancer did her in, but she had dementia as well for a decade (or more?) She could tell stories all day about the past, but her present was just a jumbled mess. Remember things like which holes my wife birdied in the HS State Golf Tournament 30 years ago but would forget her name standing right in front of her.

My mother experienced the exact same things that you describe. It seemed that mom’s memory was moving backwards. Things from 30-40 years ago, to her, seemed like they just happened. It took about 6-9 months to go from memory issues to not recognizing family.

Just how bad is Joey? I assume that your MIL and my mom did not have the benefits of the MASSIVE DRUG COCKTAIL Joey is getting on a regular basis. Without the drugs JOEY IS GONE. With the drugs, I would say he is damn near gone.

Biden resurrects Beau at the drop of a hat......as a political strategy.....even going so far as to modulate his voice into a desolate mourn (see the 2020 debate). But mournful Biden then despicably lies about the death’s circumstances, and gives credence to allegations that he is posing, fudging the death’s details for political gain.

The Hur incident is a new low for shameless Biden, everybody suspects Biden is using his son Beau’s death to fake a memory problem in order to evade more serious charges.

There’s only one other reason Biden would make the false claim about Hur “raising” the issue, as explained by Townhall managing editor Spencer Brown:

“Biden pretended to be indignant that Hur included Beau’s death, a topic that Biden himself raised in his interview....or did he conveniently “forget” that he brought up the subject of his son’s death.”

“Regardless, it’s terrible optics. Biden’s ill-tempered reaction is further proof that there is no low to which Team Biden will not stoop to drag him over the finish line one more time........even having Jill fund-raising gullible Democrats on the subterfuge.”

Let’s not lose sight over that Biden wasn’t charged, when he was a Senator/VP holding onto these classified documents, but they are still going after Trump.
