Liberal writers blast Leslie Stahl after bizarre Marjorie Taylor Greene interview on ‘60 Minutes’
Outspoken GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene doubled down on calling Democrats “pedophiles,” blasted establishment Republicans and demanded that the US stop the flow of aid money to Ukraine in a wide-ranging and fiery “60 Minutes” interview Sunday.
Taylor Greene – also known as MTG – made numerous controversial comments during her sitdown with veteran reporter Leslie Stahl – and was promptly panned by many across social media.
In one of the more shocking moments, the Georgia lawmaker responded “I would definitely say so” when Stahl pressed her on previous comments she has made about Democrats being “the party of pedophiles.”
“They support grooming children,” Taylor Greene, 48, said without providing evidence.
“Democrats support – even Joe Biden the president himself – support children being sexualized and having transgender surgeries. Sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children.”

Isn't that what Democrats have been doing? We see it, hear it, read about it every day. Who else does that BUT pedophiles, so how is MTG wrong?

Whenever the MSM says “without evidence” it means the evidence is plain for anybody to see, just as when they say “debunked” it means it’s true, and “believe the science” means it’s not science.

Another one: A crime that is reported by the MSM does not include race in the description means the suspect is black.
They’re apparently criticizing the interviewer for not attacking the interviewee (MTG) for every statement she made.
That’s actually not the function of an interviewer….except in leftist world, where the press is nothing but the enforcer of the leftist line. Hence the “fact checking” and attempts to stifle or silence every person, such as public speakers and even someone they are interviewing, who either strays from the leftist line or is obviously not going to be with it from the start. They don’t even want to hear - or want other people to hear - what the person is going to say.
This sounds like a relatively fair interview. Theoretically, the interviewer wants to hear what the interviewee thinks, and asked questions meant to elicit that, not to deny it or silence it. The interviewee’s positions can be questioned and the merits can be argued later, but first you have to be willing to hear what he or she thinks or claims.
The left is never willing to do this.
The Left is upset that one of their media outlets treated a hated Republican with some semblance of fairness. They demand their propaganda arms to be in attack mode 60/60/24/7/365.

She provided the evidence in the next sentence quoted from her. Why does the New York Post say things like that?
Stahl was not ‘Pravda’ enough for the Libs. They listened though so that was a good thing. Perhaps there was little pushback because Stahl knew she was hosting a super self-assured guest like MTG who would have taken Stahl on in a heartbeat
